Hello. Although our UShip profile is fairly new, we aren't new to shipping. You can be assured that 30 years of service in the transport business has pioneered our abilities in the industry. We provide each customer with our proof of insurance and we carry $100,000.00 in Full Value Replacement Insurance with a $1,000,000.00 liability policy with Progressive Insurance. We are legally allowed to operate under the Federal Motor Carrier division and our status is available to you by clicking on our MC # on our uShip profile page. You will also see the Safer Watch symbol on our profile that shows we are in compliance and monitored through the Federal Motor Carrier Division. We will work with you every step of the way ensuring that all aspects of your shipment exceed your expectations. We operate legally, safely, and responsibly. Our U.S.D.O.T. and Motor Carrier information is available on our profile page and can be verified by clicking on the motor carrier number. We carry all federal required insurance coverages and Full Value Replacement insurance coverage of $100,000.00 at no additional cost to you. Every customer receives a recent Certificate of Coverage from us when a shipment is booked.
During the course of transit, if any minor repairs need to be made(such as a spare tire, brake lights, wheel bearing, etc.) to the customer provided trailer to ensure a safe, lawful, and timely delivery, the customer is responsible for the payment of these repairs. The funds will be collected upon delivery and receipts will be provided. If the repairs are in excess of $100, we will contact the receiving customer prior to the repair to discuss payment arrangements for said repairs. We will not knowingly transport any freight that is not deemed roadworthy or deemed to be unsafe at the time of pickup and that decision is solely left to the experienced and trained driver after he inspects the freight upon his arrival.
Additional Payment Terms:
We require a 50% deposit prior to pick up with the remaining balance due upon delivery for payment processing outside of uship.
