Questions for this shipment:

Question: What is the GVWR rating for this truck,,and does it have air brakes or hydraulic brakes? (in short, is this truck "under CDL" or does the driver have to have a CDL license to deliver this?) And is it running well enough, engine, brakes, steering, tires, lights, and legal enough to make it without being ordered to wait for repairs and certification? (6/27/2008)
Response: It does require CDL license. Mechnically, it's ready for the road. (6/28/2008)
Question: What is your time frame for delivery? I am heading to Florida mid August.. (7/10/2008)
Response: TOO LATE! (7/10/2008)
Question: HI! CDL class A here! I could be ready to roll as soon as tomorrow. Do you still need this done? Are you willing to pay for the fuel? I would have to do this soon however, as I am a college student that needs to get back before classes start. I have been driving professionally for over 4 years, and have a safe and clean record. If you have plates and insurance then I am ready to go! (8/14/2008)
Response: nO PLATE, NO INSURANCE. (8/14/2008)
Question: good luck! (8/20/2008)
Question: Shipper if this can be driven i will provide tags and insurance on this truck (8/21/2008)
Response: According to the seller this truck is reliably driveable. Let me know what your bid would be prior to posting it. Thanks! (8/21/2008)
Response: I have already placed a bid for $2800 as soon as you let me know we will pick this up i have drivers ready now (8/21/2008)
Response: I've seen your bid. It is, unfortunately, way out of the budgetary range for this shipment. If the vehicle is to be driven, thereby incurring this added mileage, we cannot pay more than $1250. We sincerely hope you can reconsider. (8/21/2008)
Response: the only way i could do that is you pay the fuel (8/21/2008)
Question: shipper are you willing to pay for the fuel to get this moved (8/21/2008)
Question: Hello Shipper ,Can this unit be driven it's delivery point? Does it have a hitch? I have all the legal stuff to drive your truck to FL just waiting on the tags.I hope will be in the mail today (9/15/2008)
Response: NOT FOR DRIVING. INSURANCE IS TOO EXPENSIVE. (9/15/2008)
Response: Ok let me clarify for you I lust check what happened to the last shipper you accepted a bid from He did not have commercial Ins were I do the Insurance covers anything I drive or pull I have can provide for you a copy of the Ins.I am waiting for my Transport Tags should be in the mail I am hopeing today so your truck would be covered. No expence after you accept my bid...Mark (9/15/2008)
Question: Hello Shipper I see you are back. And I'm still here. I'm asking the same question Can this truck be driven? does it have a hitch? (9/25/2008)
Response: We've decided to just trailer it. Thanks! (9/25/2008)
Response: OK If you should change your mind let me know.I have all the legal stuff that you would need got my a couple of days ago....Mark (9/25/2008)
Response: VERY WELL. (9/26/2008)
Question: Dear Shipper, it will cost $1450.00 to ship. Thanks Farmboyjdh. (9/28/2008)
Question: Hello.... If you can insure this truck, i can drive it to its destination next week for $1280. Does that work for you? Is it ready to go? Please check my Uship profile to see that I have safely delivered many vehicles . Thank You . Uship Username: timtim (10/4/2008)
Question: hi again.... my insurance is limited so if you were to also cover the truck, what would your pricerange be? please check my uship feedback to see i have safely delivered many vehicles. thanks, uship username: timtim (10/7/2008)
Response: WE WON'T COVER THE TRUCK. WE PREFER IT BEING TRAILERED. THANKS. (10/7/2008)
Question: does it have a plate on it (10/20/2008)
Response: NO. (10/20/2008)
Question: just a bit of info for you, legal hight on the street is 13'6" and at 29' long you will ne a 53' low boy with a 35' span unless you put that truck on its side its gona be hard to put that truck on a trailer good luck (10/20/2008)
Response: Info appreciated. A lowboy is exactly what we're expecting. One went once to pick it up but he hadn't called the contact and when he got there he only had the truck itself to talk to. As you can imagine, it's pretty hard for a truck to release its own self to someone. The driver got disappointed and never returned. I guess he blamed himself to hard, if he has any conscience. (10/20/2008)
Question: I have 2 vehicles to go from Michigan to Florida. Perhaps they could go in the back of this vehicle and subsidize your shipment? Chase - A2 Shipping Depot. Please review the ad for 2 vehicles from Ann Arbor to Florida. (10/27/2008)
Response: The box of this vehicle is 24' long and about 8' high. (10/27/2008)
Question: Have you changed you mind at all about it being driven? I have a CDL A with 16years experience. I am coming down to Cocoa Beach 2nd week of Nov on vacation, perhaps something could be worked out. (10/28/2008)
Response: DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE? [email address removed] (4/29/2009)
Response: (4/29/2009)
Question: I just wanted to inform you that I will be leaving for Florida nov 21st to key west. I also have 11yrs of verifiable driving references. If by that time you’re circumstances change Ill be interested in transporting the truck to you. Please keep me in mind thanks Eloy (10/28/2008)
Response: Are you still interested in driving this truck? If so, do you have insurance? [email address removed] (4/29/2009)
Question: Hello I’m going to canceled my bid so I can commit to other work. You have the dates I’m leaving. If by then you decide to use me if available I would like to help you with this delivery if I can. Thanks sorry for the confusion. Eloy (11/3/2008)
Question: Shipper I already bid on this move its expensive but I will bring it down on a tow truck. magnumact. (11/3/2008)
Question: Hello shipper, Are you still looking to have this Truck shipped? and Is this truck drivable, shipping via low boy would be extremely over your Budget, if its drivable i can arrange delivery Nov 25th in Miami, and we should be able to meet your Budget or Target Price. (11/17/2008)
Response: ARE YOU STILL INTERESTED? [email address removed] (4/29/2009)
Question: Hi I see you havent got your truck moved. Too bad. I told ya it would be hard to move it for that price. good luck Trevino Trucking. (12/25/2008)
Question: If this truck is road worthy I am willing to ad to my fleet insurance and drive. What would you pay for this type of delivery with verified road insurance. (1/5/2009)
Response: $700 (1/5/2009)
Question: Hi Shipper, I have a CDL A with over 15yrs experince. You pay for the fuel, and let me know what your will to pay for my driving it. Thanks Tom , Ditnershipping (1/6/2009)
Response: TELL ME WHAT YOU'D CHARGE FOR YOUR DRIVING. (4/29/2009)
Question: HI , CAN WE LET SOME OF THE AIR PRESSURE OUT OF THE TIRES TO LOWER THIS TO A LEGAL HEIGHT ? MOST RGN TRAILERS CAN ONLY HAUL ABOUT 11'10" HIGH LOAD. THANKS , GEORGE (1/7/2009)
Response: If you're sure of a positive outcome, we don't mind. We just want the truck delivered successfully, even if you have to take the tires and reems off completely after loading it on your rig. However, everything must be put back in place upon delivery. Let us know your plan. Thanks for your interest. STCHARLES INTERNATIONAL, INC. (1/7/2009)
Question: I can do this for you I know you are having trouble finding a shipper. I will drive it down for you and it will be delivered in a reasonable amount of time within 3 days of pickup (1/12/2009)
Response: ARE YOU STILL INTERESTED? (4/29/2009)
Question: We see that you recently updated your ad, and have told others that it could be driven. Is the truck mechanically sound to be driven, and if so, what is your target price for this service? Have the very best day that you can! (4/28/2009)
Response: The truck was purchased through e-Bay and no one in our company has actually seen it. However, the seller has assured us that the vehicle is drivableable. Our preference is for it to be trailered on a Low-boy for a $1000 target price. In the alternative, we'd let someone with the proper credential and insurance drive it for $750, expenses included. (4/28/2009)
Response: Thank you for getting back to us. We will do some pondering, and if we are able to service your shipment, we will place a formal bid. We would be driving it as we do not have the equipment to transport it. Too bad one of or CDL drivers could not inspect the truck prior to placing a bid. It may be different from a seller's point of view what is "drive able", and what the DOT/CDL drivers say is legal/safe to be on the road. Have the very best day that you can! (4/28/2009)
Response: Thanks! (4/28/2009)
Question: Hello, I've got a CDL and commercial insurance policy that will cover your vehicle. What kind of gas mileage does this truck get? 8 mpg? Thank you, Jeff (4/28/2009)
Response: THE SELLER SAYS THAT EVEN LOADED IT GIVES 15MPG. WHILE I'M NOT A CMV DRIVER, I'M INCLINED TO DIFFER & THINK 10-13MPG IS MORE REALISTIC. (4/28/2009)
Question: I can do it for $1700 door to door thanks Matt (4/29/2009)
Question: Are you still looking? could drive it there for $1100. I have cdl and commercial insurance and i could get a transport tag. thanks jim. (5/5/2009)
Response: JIM: $1100 IS OUR TARGET FOR THE TRUCK TO BE TRAILERED. IF YOU CAN DRIVE IT FOR A FLAT $1000,WHICH IS $200 ABOVE OUR TARGET PRICE FOR IT TO BE DRIVEN, PLACE YOUR BID RIGHT AWAY AND THE JOB IS YOURS. THANKS! CHARLES @ STCHARLES INTERNATIONAL, INC. (5/5/2009)
Question: Hi looks like this has been a hard on to get done. We can pick up this week deliver within 6 days or less. We can use OUR transporter plates, & insurance. Give you door to door service for $ 1100.00. Would this work for you ? (5/5/2009)
Response: Frankly, it has not been so hard. The fact is that the customer for whom we bought the vehicle didn't want it to incur to much mileage by being driven. We've so far rejected 11 such bids ranging from $750 to $900. The first Lowboy trailer on its way to pick it up broke down 27 miles away and had to be towed back to its base far away. When another company went to pick it up, the driver got there 5 hours late and found the person who was to release the vehicle had left an hour earlier in response to his wife being in critical condition in a hospital. Thirdly, we closed down for 3 months due to reorganization. We've now reimbursed the customer and are now the real owners of the truck and will allow it to be driven for $900. If you can do it, per your proposed schedule, please bid right away. We hope to hear from you very soon Thanks! Charles @ STCHARLES INTERNATIONAL, INC. (5/5/2009)
Response: Charles thanks for your quick responds. Its 4 pm EST we will see if this can work for us & let you know around 8 pm or sooner, waiting to talk this over with my brother. Thanks Mike. (5/5/2009)
Question: Hi did you get my answer to your question? Jim (5/5/2009)
Response: JIM: THANKS FOR THE ANSWER AND THE BID. WE ONLY WANT TO CLARIFY THIS LAST ISSUE WITH YOU BEFORE OFFICIALLY ACCEPTING YOUR BID: IT SEEMS THAT YOU REQUIRE PAYMENT IN ADVANCE. WE HAVE SO FAR BEEN RIPPED OFF TO THE TUNE OF $4300 BY UNSCRIPULOUS U-SHIP SERVICE PROVIDERS, THE LAST BEING JOHNCOOK92, WHO REQUIRED ADVANCE PARTIAL PAYMENTS, TOOK THE MONEYS AND DISAPPEARED. WE ARE CURRENTLY BRINGING 3 OF THEM TO COURT. ALL THOSE BAD EXPERIENCES HAVE FORCED US TO BECOME A STRICKLY C.O.D COMPANY. YOU'RE WELCOME TO CHECK OUR RECORD. WE TAKE AN AVERAGE OF 15 DELIVERIES PER MONTH AND PAY THE SERVICE PROVIDERS FLAWLESSLY, CASH ON HAND 24/7. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT TIME YOU DELIVER. THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONE AVAILABLE TO PAY YOU. WE'RE SITTING AT THE COMPUTER TO ACCEPT YOUR BID. PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP IF YOU CAN COLLECT UPON DELIVERY. AGAIN, YOUR MONEY WILL BE HANDED TO YOU BEFORE YOU EVEN EXIT THE VEHICLE AT DELIVERY. RESPECTFULLY YOURS, CHARLES @ STCHARLES INTERNATIONAL, INC. (5/5/2009)
Response: Hi. I would feel better if I could get at least the fuel money in advance. I wouldnt need it until I actually picked up the truck, but thats a lot of money out of pocket on trust. $300 would be enough. Thanks, Jim (5/5/2009)
Question: Hey Charles we have talked about this & we have a counter offer for you. We can do it for your target price. After reading your profile, the Q & A s we understand this is COD. We uaually get half down this way customer pays for their own fuel. We will TRUST you on COD. Our profile says it all. We did not get it by screwing shippers like yourself. Mark (5/5/2009)
Response: THANKS, MARK. PLEASE, POST YOUR BID. (5/5/2009)
Response: Charles we are waiting for a confermation on truck out of FL. to OH. He said he would let us know by 6 pm EST. We need this or something else for trip back. This is why its so hard to make a deal in here, this would all be done by now over the phone. Once we get confermatiom on anything, driver is ready to roll. We would like to get out of here today, or 5-7 to have it to you on, or before 5-11. Thanks Mark (5/6/2009)
Response: Tanks for the answer, Mark. We are a 24/7 operation. Let us know any time today what happens. Charles @ STCHARLES INTERNATIONAL, INC. (5/6/2009)
Response: Charles the truck we had to come back was a done deal. Now a family member will drive it for them for the same price we quoted them. And he waits till 11:15 pm EST to let us know. I know we can pick up anyday this week & put on our secured, insured lot. but can not get it there until we book something else back. We are still looking as I type I'm sure we can get something else for deliver on or before the 19th. Balls in your court. Bottom line we would rather lose this and work with you later, than let you down. We are not going to screw you up on this. Thank you for your time hope we can work with you on this, or next one Mark.
