The things I saw that kept me away: it needed to be on a pallet (apparently not a requirement now), height of 4'6 (minivan only has 4' interior height and tailgate opening is only 3' high), 245 lbs and in a basement (I'd be by myself, and even with help tough to load by hand into a minivan). Also, I've haven't transported pinball machine previously. Thanks for your answer, but I think it's best that someone with a truck or trailer handle this. Best wishes. Steve Mulder.

Response: This weekend would work fine. I have purchased the machine. It is located in the basement, so it would need to be safely removed, and hauled to me. I have stairs I want it to be delivered to, but this is negotiable, based on the price. We could leave it in the garage if necessary and I will have a local mover move it on the stairs here. Would you blanket wrap it? How would it be transported?
What is your cost to remove it from their basement and move it? It is in excellent condition, so care should be taken. I am just south of Dallas proper by 10 minutes.
I hope we can work out a price. Thanks for your time. I do appreciate it. I have wanted this pinball machine for 20 years! Finally getting it, I feel like we've adopted a baby!

Response: : I know how it feels to get a toy you have always wanted! I just got a few myself. Anyway I can pick it up in his basement no problem. And deliver inside your house no problem. Your toy will be handled and delivered with care. Legs will be placed inside the cab of my truck and the machine will be shrink wrapped for protection. Is $488.00 too much?

Response: It is ready now. I would need to arrange your pickup time with the seller so he could be home. You would need to remove it from the basement, which has stairs. I'd ask for it to be at least blanket wrapped, and prefer for it to sit on a pallet if it is to be moved around. The cabinet looks great on it, so I want to minimize potential to scratch it up. What is your schedule like to pick it up and then deliver it? I can be patient for your schedule, just need the info so I can share with the seller as to when you could get it. Can you give me a price too?

Response: Ok, so let's confirm:
On the Des Moines/Pleasant Hill Pickup side:
Machine is in basement. There is a single flight of stairs and machine fits through door way fine. Back box on machine folds down. Legs can be easily removed. You would need to get it up the stairs. I would not be there. Seller cannot assist because he is unable to. Would you have someone to assist or a device to do this? Seller say home is easily accessible for your truck.
Machine would be blanketed and transported to me next week in Texas. At this end, someone can be available (with notice you are coming) to help move machine into my garage from your truck. I have an easily accessible garage for your truck.
Wrap removed legs separately from machine so they do not rub the cabinet.
If this works, please bid the job and I will accept your offer. If you have more questions before that, just let me know.
