Question: How soon did you need it? I know asap.. I am in Tacoma now heading to Blaine then to Reno with 2 new lexus suv's then to AZ. I am based in Sacramento and go to OR every other week sometimes every week like these last 2. Price around $500. FVRR (3/5/2008)

Response: I'm sure usually you have people begging you to get out there as quick as possible but in this case, I'm putting down a deposit and need a couple weeks to get the rest of the money to the seller. I would say in two weeks or so I'll be ready. Will you be making any further trips in the near future?
Any less than $500 fee possible? (3/5/2008)

Response: You might find someone on here to do it for less but I really can't. Each tank is costing me about $20 more than it was last month. I'm a rock crawler as well. I live 2 hours from Reno so normally go to OR WA every other week but am getting ready to start hitting MT WY. Keep me in mind when it's ready. (3/5/2008)

Response: For sure. Your price isn't bad at all. Just seeing if I can work the price down. I'll keep you in mind for sure. Thanks! (3/5/2008)

Response: I'm going to Reno to pick up a car next week and back up to WA the following week are you ready? Just got back from AZ to see fuel at a nice price of $4.20 in Palm Springs. The $500 from last week is too low now. Let me know if your ready and what your budget will allow but if it's less than $575 I won't be able to help. (3/13/2008)

Response: Just wondering if you were heading to Reno area again anytime soon. I've finalized everything with the purchase of the vehicle and have the funds to pay for shipping. At this point just updating everyone I've spoken with and wanting to get updated time frame & price if you were still interested?
Let me know. If you are interested please submit me a formal bid. Thanks!!!!
PS: Please note that if need be I would consider waiting longer to receive the truck so that it fits into your itenererary better if it makes the cost of shipment much cheaper? (4/19/2008)

Response: I am heading to WA tomorrow and if you would have got to me yesterday I could have dropped it off Mon but am now full. I won't be able to move this for my original price as fuel has gone up about .30 cents a gallon. Price now $616.54 (4/19/2008)

Question: I will need to know asap as other bids are coming in. rg3685 (3/6/2008)

Response: That's a negative as of now. I have one ready to go within the next week at $500 flat. If you can match, I'm happy to discuss the details further with you.
Thanks for your help and consideration. (3/6/2008)

Response: when are you ready to go (3/6/2008)

Response: We should have the transaction completed at latest in two and a half weeks but at earliest one week. (3/6/2008)

Response: Alright. I'll keep you in the loop. I will be traveling near you next Saturday the 15th. If I don't fill the spot by then or you have the money sooner, we can deal. rg3685@ (3/6/2008)

Response: Sounds good. Definately keep me in the loop.
Thanks! (3/6/2008)

Response: Hello again, what is your situation on this shippment (3/12/2008)

Response: Just wanted to let you know that I'm still active on this shipment and my best guess is that it'll ready for shipment in about 2 weeks. Can you let me know first if you are still interested and second what the cheapest you think you could do it for would be? If I remember correctly, your first bid we had discussed was around $550 and you fit it into your schedule since the bid is so cheap. Correct and can you go any lower at all? Thanks for your help and consideration!!! (4/10/2008)

Response: sorry, I have been there and back already. I'll keep you in mind If I get another load there. (4/11/2008)

Response: Yeah, definately let me know next time you'll be in my area. (4/11/2008)

Response: Thank you for the request, though I will be no where near that rout for a while, rg3685 (4/19/2008)

Question: hello, i have a height limitation of 76 inchs and a width limitation between fenderwells of 76 inchs, could you let me know if your truck would fit and if so i will be happy to place a bid (3/6/2008)

Response: I don't have that info as of now. Why not shoot me a bid and when I get the measurements and it would fit, we can go from there. (3/6/2008)

Response: hey man thanks for the bid request but i still need your measurements to make sure it will fit in the trailer (3/14/2008)

As far as measurements and knowing the aftermarket stuff done to the truck here's my best guess on it's measurements (larger estimates most likely).
Width 70" max
Height 78" max
Length 196"
Let me know. If you are interested please submit me a formal bid. Thanks!!!!

Response: i could get it done for your max sometime next week i will be leaving tonight for La but will be back home on wensday thursday could pickup about friday. maybe. i will submit a formal bid below with open dates but more and likely get it moved within a week or 2 price of diesel as gone up $.60 sence you listed so i have to bid your max to make it worth it to me to haul (4/20/2008)

Response: I appreciate your swift response! I am definitely tempted to just jump on $585 right now and be done with it but I have two others who within the past two weeks had gotten down to the mid $500's (one at $530 & $550). Only issue with them is how long until they could have it at my door and the fact that I haven't heard back from them since initial discussions.
I have sent them emails as well but have yet to hear back. I think if you were ready to go at $550 and I'd have it in a week or so, I'll commit to you.
Trust me, I understand the costs and diesel prices are killing me right now too! Not trying to low-ball you but I do have a couple other pending offers at less.
If you want to go at $550 right now (and I received the truck in a week or so), I'll do it or I can wait to hear from the other bidders and let you know? It's up to you. Again, I understand if that price point just won't work for you. Let me know.
Thanks for your interest! Brian (4/20/2008)

Response: my offer stands after uship takes there cut i will be getting 517-518 to transport it. also i have to go into carson city to look for a accord that im trying to repo your truck will come back first im just trying to spot this guy so i can get the car back. (4/20/2008)

Response: Yeah, I think I'll go ahead and take you up on that offer. Have yet to hear back from the other two shippers I mentioned in my previous email.
I am waiting for a deposit to clear on my account that I'll be charging this to. So tomorrow I'll formally accept your bid once that goes through, but as of now go ahead and plan on this one.
How soon do you think it'll be delivered here assuming the current owner of the truck is flexible on pick-up?
Also, if you are interested I may have a way to save you some money on this shipment as well as some others. Looking at your description, you quoted gas prices in your area around $4.25 a gallon. I have a place that I've found locally which is consistently cheaper than any other place by about 20 cents. As long as you don't mind running ARCO fuels in your Dodge. Hell you may even want to grab an auxillary tank or two just for the trip and fill up there. I think late last week it was $4.00 per gallon?
Anyway, let me know. Thanks (4/21/2008)

Response: i just filled up tonight so i can leave in the morning $4.38 i know when i left redding last week they still had some cheaper spots at $4.15 it seem the prices have been changing weekly. so will see. i running to la in the morning then from there to fresno then to the bay then to portland. soon as i get done with all my drop offs. im going to head home in olympia wa to crash for the night then head that way, i can work around your sellers hours. because i would like to take a look around reno/carson city see if i can locate that accord. that car worth well over 1k if i can get it. but at the same time if i can find it i will be out my fuel and time i will explaine more when i talk to you. (4/21/2008)

Response: Tim, quick question for you. Do you ever go to Baton Rouge? I might be purchasing another truck out there. It'd be an '04 Ram 2500 CTD with a 4" lift and 35" tires.
Potentially if I did that, I may hold on this shipment and have you grab them both at the same time? Would this be workable and if so would it save me much money to go the additional distance on the same trip? Not sure how often you swing remotely close to that area but want to do it for as cheap as possible.
Let me know. Thanks!!!! (4/21/2008)

Response: Baton Rouge La is 2650 miles from the seattle are thats so far out that i would have to book stuff going there and extra coming back to make it work. truck like that is very heavy. and your best bet would be too hire a big comp on that to keep your cost down i dont have a muti car hauler so i have to charge more for my service. (4/21/2008)

Question: The other shipment I had in Reno didn't pan out, so i'll decline my bid for now and resubmit if something else comes along in your timeframe. Thanks for your consideration , Ian (4/11/2008)

Question: well im leaving now for La i will without internet tell i get back home i will be coming to that area for sure friday/saturday give or take once you have accepted my bid give me a call with the # listed and we can work out pickup times ect thanks T (4/21/2008)

Response: Hey Tim,
Got bad news earlier. Looks like my seller may be backing out on me after all this?
He says he has a family member that he promised the truck to and now wants it. Granted it sounds like if it falls through he's actually going to give me my full amount paid back and a little extra for my time.
Either way, this sucks. It's still up in the air tough. He said to give him a few days to figure it out though.
I just wanted to give you the latest and not keep you on the hook. I just accepted the bid but didn't pay the deposit. It looks like we should still leave the bid as it stands and not cancel it all together.
As soon as I know, you will. Sorry about the inconvenience! Please let me know once you've received this. Thanks!!! (4/22/2008)
