Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello. What date would you like this delivered? Is it a US or Canadian registered car? If US, is it an import situation? David (dsmall) (5/26/2007)
Response: I would like it before the 3rd week of June, no exact date. It is a US vehicle I bought and I am bringing it to Canada. Yes Import situation, less complicated because it is more than 15 years old. (5/26/2007)
Question: Perhaps you more more than I think I do ... But I think that the easier part is at 20 years ... I am guessing that you don't have customs broker ... would you be willing to meet me at the border if I were to drive the vehicle for you? You would need to take care of import, duty and RIV yourself at that time. I would not be able to do that for you. dsmall (5/26/2007)
Question: Yeah ... this might be a little more involved than you think ... that 15 year rule is applied by TRANSPORT CANADA. NOT Canada Customs ... it refers to permission to drive the car once it is IN Canada. It does NOT deal with IMPORTING the car into Canada. I would be glad to drive the car to Canada. However, you would be required to do one of two things: 1. Meet me at the border, with your vehicle info and credit card, OR 2. Hire a customs broker. Let me know if you are interested in my assistance. (5/27/2007)
Response: I would meet you at the border no problem, I am only less than an hour away! How do you make it back? (5/28/2007)
Question: I would continue on to Winnipeg with you. (5/28/2007)
Response: Sorry, are you going to make a bid? (5/28/2007)
Question: Hello I can drive your vehicle to the border for you between 1-20 June 07. Given the distance and cost of fuel my bid offer is 875.00 Thank you (5/28/2007)
Response: $875.50 includes everythingthat I have to pay for? you returning to california gas? (5/28/2007)
Question: Helli this bid offer is the total. No hidden or added charge. I fly back to my homebase. Thank you (5/28/2007)
Response: Don't you have to make a formal bid then I can except or decline it? (5/28/2007)
Question: Only after we both are comfortable with the terms. This vehicle will make this drive with major problems correct? It does have tags/insurance correct? We do agree on the date for pick up Correct? We do agree on the bid offer Correct? (5/28/2007)
Response: I am just waiting for the guy I bought the truck off of to get the new title, What was the date you said? In between June 1 to 20 2007? (5/28/2007)
Question: yes (5/28/2007)
Response: Any news on if you can do this shipment for me? Waiting to hear from you. (5/31/2007)
Question: Will the vehicle have tags/insurance for the shipment dates offered at the agreed bid price? (5/31/2007)
Response: Yes it will have insurance for the dates we discussed. (5/31/2007)
Question: Hello what date are you wanting pick up? (5/31/2007)
Response: the dates you offered were between June 1-20 2007. Either Friday June 8th or Friday June 15th? (5/31/2007)
Question: I can pick up Friday June 8th around 9am. Will place formal bid for your acceptance. Thank you (5/31/2007)
Response: I wanted it delivered on either June 8th or June 15th, I live in Winnipeg and the guy I am buying the truck from lives in San Francisco. (5/31/2007)
Question: No problem . I can pick up on 11 June and have it to you by the 15th. Are you going to accept my offer? (5/31/2007)
