Question: Hi shipper, we're an independent moving company based out of Iowa City, IA. We'll be in southern California during the week of June 8th and returning to Iowa. We have a semi with a 53' kentucky trailer and are looking for backhauls. Would these dates work and what price are you looking to ship this for? Is the vehicle functional and does it have a clean title? Sincerely, Billy - Adamantine Spine Moving (5/24/2009)

Response: Yes, those dates would work. As far as price, I'm just looking for the best deal out there, so shoot me an offer and we can negotiate. The car runs fine and has a clean title. Is this an enclosed trailer?

Response: Mike, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. We have a 53' movers trailer, so it's fully enclosed. Check out the pictures on our profile to see what it looks like. For pricing I like to get around $1000.00 for shipments like this, depending on how much you'd like to insure it for. Of course, since I'm looking for back hauls and this is right on my route, I can be flexible. You'll get all kinds of quotes cheaper than mine, but their equipment, experience, and legal credentials will probably be a little deficient. We're a moving company, so we're used to handling sensitive shipments, picking up and delivering on time, and communicating our progress throughout the entire process. Let me know what kind of insurance you're looking for and I'll place a formal bid. -Billy (5/25/2009)

Response: If you could do it for $800 I'd be on board. As far as insurance goes, i don't know. I've had cars shipped before, but have never questioned their insurance. I guess as long as they had it, I was satisfied. I'm open to your suggestions. (5/25/2009)

Response: Mike, I just placed a bid on transporting your Porsche 944. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. -Billy (5/26/2009)
