Question: Hi! Check Out My Feedback By Clicking On My Name! When Is This Ready To Go? What Are Deadlines For Pickup And Dropoff? What Days And Hours Can Pickup And Dropoff Be Done? Does Everything Work? (Lights,Brakes,Air,Cruise,Radio,Heat/Defroster) What Engine And Transmission Does It Have? Does It Take Regular Or Premium Gas, E85 Or Diesel? Is It 2WD Or 4WD? Does It Have A Hitch? Will It Make The Trip OK If I Drive It For You? Please Let Me Know Right Away So I Can Submit My Low Bid While I Still Have Room To Schedule You! Thanks! Dave (8/2/2008)
Response: Hi, the car is a 1988 Mercury Grand Marquis in excellent condition. I was told by the seller that everything is operational. A/C, brakes, tires, lights, controls, etc. The car has a fuel injected 302 V8 which should average 20-24 mpg on the interstate and runs on 87 octane fuel. I know these cars very well. I'm still driving an '89 everday. They are built to last. Since I just purchased the car today, I haven't really finalised everything yet. Basically, if I send the seller a personal check, the car should be available in approximately 10 business days. My schedule is flexible. I work M-F 9-6, and I'm always available in the evenings after 6:30. The car is in Sarasota, Florida. I'm in Birmingham, Alabama. Approximately 630 miles one way. Thanks for your bid. Mike Agnesia (8/2/2008)
Response: Mike! Can You Wire Funds Or Send Certified Check Or Money Order (Only A Buck At Post Office) To Avoid Any Delays? Please Let Me Know! Thanks! Dave (8/2/2008)
Response: Yes, I can do that when the time comes to do business. That's no problem. My schedule is very flexible. All I do is work and come home. The car should be available to be picked up in about 10 business days. Mike (8/2/2008)
Response: Mike! Thanks For Your Quick Reply! I Think I Wasn't Clear! I Meant Can You Send Certified Or Money Order To Seller To Avoid Delays! Please Let Me Know! Dave (8/2/2008)
Response: Dave, I'm supposed to be in Mobile next weekend. A friend has offered to spend Saturday driving to Sarasota to help me get the car back. Thanks, again, for the quick response. If my small opportunity to get the car doesn't work out for me, I may still contact you at a later date. Thanks again! Mike Agnesia (8/2/2008)
Question: Hello, would you be interested in having this vehicle driven for delivery? If it is roadworthy, insured, and has a license plate or temporary tag, I could drive it for you for $400 all-inclusive. Expected transit time is 2 days. I may need 2-3 weeks advance notice to schedule your delivery. Please let me know if you have any questions and whether I should submit a bid. Thanks, Eric (8/2/2008)
Response: Hi, Yes, that's a definate possibility. The car is a 1988 Mercury Grand Marquis located in Sarasota, Florida. I'm in Birmingham, Alabama. The car should be roadworthy as advertised. I'm not sure about the insurance situation yet. The car should come with a temporary dealer license plate. That's all the information I have at this time. I just purched the car this morning. Thanks for the opportunity to receive your bid. Let me know if you need even more info before you make a bid. Thanks, Mike Agnesia (8/2/2008)
Response: Hello Mike, thank you for the reply. My understanding is that to get a temp tag you will need insurance on the car. Most insurance policies cover anyone you allow to drive it, such as myself. If not, I have a liability-only auto insurance policy that would cover me. I will go ahead and place a bid, so it will be there for you if the insurance & tags come through. Thanks, Eric (8/2/2008)
Response: Eric, are you still available? I'm flexible on a time. It could be anytime within the next couple of weeks. Mike (8/3/2008)
Response: Hello Mike, I have placed a new bid for pickup by August 18. Thanks, Eric (8/3/2008)
