Question: Hi: I am interested in this move but want to be sure of the height and weight. I can only handle 20,000# and the height can only be 10'. Response: Hi Ed, I can get the hight down to ten feet by removing the stack. It is a single frame, 38,000 rears day cab Pete. I have most likely over estimated the weight as I have no way to weigh the truck. It came from Illinios on a tri axle gooseneck 5th wheel trailer hooked to a one and a half ton ford pick-up. Response: Hi: That sounds good. Remove the stack to get the height down. I am sure the weight is around 16,000# at the most so that part is OK. I have an 88' tandem Mack that weighs 16,000# all heavy duty components. I cannot move it until next week on Wed. or Thurs. 10/15 or 10/16. I will put together a bid. Is this timeframe OK with you?
