Additional Information: The boat is on a brand new trailer at west coast trailers in Huntington beach, I have not gotten a measurement of the hight on it's new trailer but guess it is close. I believe the radar antenna can come off and save 1'. the new trailer has 18k gross and triple disc brakes. It needs to go to sampson tug and barge in seattle Report a Violation

Question:

Shipper, can you get the arch down? Thanks Larry from 360boatloaderReport a Violation
Response: I was going to but it's got all the wires for the radar, radio's lights and everything else run up through the hull and inside the arch. I am trying to get a new measurement on the highth. I just had it weighed and it is 13,220 with the trailer. 4/29/2014Report a Violation
Response: The arch usually comes down pretty easy. 4/29/2014Report a Violation
Question:

John,I can sort out your trailer. Then I can take it north on its own trailer next week for $2500.00 plus whatever it takes to repair the trailer. I live in Torrance which is right next to Carson so it will be easy for me to wrangle this. Best Rick at Flynn Marine. Report a Violation
Response: I have not been able to get a hold of the guy who has it now but, I am sure he is ready to be done with it. 4 days and he has only gotten from Oceanside to LA. He has gone way beyond the call of duty. I had the trailer completely rebuilt for this trip at Cal-Kona marine in Oceanside, they say the brakes are locking up because the boat is too big for the trailer "even though it has been with it for 7 years" and did not have a problem before they rebuilt it. I had it weighed yesterday after they refused to make it right. The boat on the trailer is 13,020 lbs. The trailer is rated for 12k. I do not believe 1k over the gross will cause one of the brakes to lock up the instant it moves. It has about 50 gallons of gas in it and I don't know about the water& sewer tanks there is also a dingy and small out board and tool box in there. I believe that with a little effort it can get within the gross of the trailer and can be safely towed to Seattle. I will respond again once I hear from him 4/30/2014Report a Violation
Response: John, there are many things which could cause the brakes to malfunction. Is the boat loaded properly? If the tounge weight is too much it can cause a hydraulic coupler to bind up and not release properly. Does your guy have a proper tow vehicle for a boat this size? Also important to have the hitch height correct. If it has electric over hydraulic brakes he may not have the right brake controller.4/30/2014Report a Violation
Response: it turns out the back plates were backwards it also had the wrong berings in it. I am having a new trailer built for the boat with an 18k capacity. I feel Cal-Kona marine in Ocean side really screwed me when they rebuilt the trailer last time. I am paying right now to have it re-rebuilt, this time it's 900 but the boat is still too heavy for the trailer. I am going to cancel this auction because I have a 5 week wait for the new trailer. If you know any one looking for a 12k alum trailer with all new tires, hubs and brakes let me know5/1/2014Report a Violation
Response: John, $3000.00 including permits,14' is max height, I am able to reduce height myself if needed. Can pick it up on Wednesday and have it to the barge by Friday. If this works let me know and I will place the bid. Thanks Rick at Flynn Marine.6/28/2014Report a Violation
