Question: Good day to ya! I am not interested in putting in a bid. I am however, giving advise. When you choose a carrier or this case-the way your leaning-any Joe that has a truck and willing to pull your boat down the road. I suggest you request a certificate of cargo insurance, that is if the safety of you vessel is important to ya! You see, the ones that have put in the bids and were declined for the prie being to high - they pay for insurace for YOUR vessel. Just in case. I wish you the best, Belvelina (6/28/2009)

Response: Good - your looking for a certificate of cargo coverage. Liability does not cover your vessel. On the certificate, the name of the insureed should be the name of the company or peron you are dealing with (sounds simply, but a major overlooked detail) more importantly, the name of the insurance agents name, address and phone number should be available - call them, confirm coverage of your vessel while in transport. Question: Hi, I could do this for approx 1790.00 total bid. I am DOT/MC legal and insured to transport for hire across state lines. I will take care of all wide load permits which run appprox 300.00 to go thru 6 states. I also have a transporter tag to put on the trailer. Please reply ASAP if you want me to bid!!
