Questions for this shipment:

Question: can this be picked up this week and taken to you saturday also please see my profile (6/7/2006)
Response: Yes, certainly it can be picked up whenever you are ready. Let me apollogize for not have the right information previous add. this add is accurate. Added 6/10 8pm Jeremy are you interested in transporting this trailer if yes, please bid (6/7/2006)
Question: any permits required or just a pickup? (6/7/2006)
Response: Permits are required. I am willing to pay for the permits but I was hoping to get someone who knows the process to obtain them. If I have to get the permits, I would expect to pay less. (6/7/2006)
Question: We are working on a load to ND. We could do this on our way back for 2.00 a mile plus permits which should be around 200.00 or less. Probably less. Are the tires in good shape. Once we know about the ND move we can place the bid with the prices of the permits included. Thanks Sextant Transport (6/13/2006)
Response: 2 brand new tires, 2 older but serviceable. Trailer was recently moved 40 miles to current location. I do have a link to all the DOT for each state if needed. Looking forward to your bid (6/13/2006)
Question: Hello again. Sorry I have not been around. I have been on the road. But back home now. I need to know how much it will cost for the oversized permits for Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. If you can find that out and get back with me asap then I can haul this for you this weekend. Thanks again. (6/13/2006)
Response: Jeremy, permits should only run no more than $200, but probably substantially less. We can negotiate that separate from the delvery fee. you can bid it and say plus cost of permits. (6/13/2006)
Question: a 1 ton truck is not legal to trasport this unit. If it has not shipped, I can send you a bid. We specialize in this typ of shippment (6/14/2006)
Response: Item not shipped yet. send a bid. I would like to move ASAP. there isn't any info in your profile, I will need you to tell me a little about yourself before I make a decision. thanks (6/14/2006)
Question: this is jeremy i can do this but I need to know what each permit is I will be going thru IL IN and KY also could you give me the address of the trailer so i can look at it tonight I can do this this weekend please respond asap I am so sorry it took me so long I have been in and out thanks jeremy (6/14/2006)
Response: I'm okay with next week. this site has links to all the DOT with info and phone numbers. http://www.aitaonline.com/Escorts.html (6/14/2006)
Question: I am an agent for Bennett Truck Transport, Bennett is the largest shipper of mobile homes and RVs. we have specially designed trucks to transport these units. I haveinsurance, due to increases in fuel cost my cost is slightly higher than targetprice csn we work in $1800.00 Thanks (6/14/2006)
Response: does that include all permit cost, etc? (6/14/2006)
Question: why is the pick up address not the right address? 114 w. jackson is an amoco gas station (6/14/2006)
Response: you are correct about 114 being an amoco. The seller is keeping this on a freinds lot and he didn't know the exact address. I was told it is 1/4 mile west on Highway 6 (jackson st) on the same side. I was told you couldn't miss it because there isn't much there. I have been asking for the specific address but they aren't being much help. (6/14/2006)
Question: Okay I can do this I am lookking into the permits right now. They told me i can only drive from sun rise to sun set, so what I will do is pick it up friday eving and stop in indiana to rest and at sunrise saturday bring it to you. If it is okay I will need a deposit of 150 to pay for the permits so they can fax them to me ontime . we will call 6/15 tomorrow they are no longer open today and we will have them fax the permits to us. thanks again jeremy. (6/14/2006)
Question: If I cannot get these permits by tomorrow afternoon by DOT, then I will have to wait till the next Friday to transport. Either way, I will get it to you in a timely manner. DOT is closed for the day anhd I am having my wife call them in the morning with all the specifications on this trailer. Now, since it will ve a permit load, I will be subject to drive only during the time the sun is up. After dark, I will have to be in a truckstop or rest area according to DOT regulations. After I have recieved the permits, I will have a planned route and will have to submit it to DOT for each state and they will be on the lookout as they are for all oversized permit loads on the interstates. If my route is not as they see fit, they will give me a route to travel and this will be non-negotiable. I think I may e able to stay away from Ohio and just go from Illinois-Indiana-Kentucky. Hopefully. ;-) (6/14/2006)
Question: The deposit is for the permits, oversize load banners and any extra costs to make this a legal run. I will require this deposit via paypal. I will take a look at the trailer tomorrow after I get home. But to be sure, let me varify the address. I went to mapquest and entered the address with the zip code and it is located north of me about 2.5 hours away. So I may not be able to go to look at it as I had planned. What is the correct Zip code? You have 2 different zip codes. 61630 & 61360. I need to know which zip code is correct before you accept this bid.` (6/14/2006)
Response: I did screw the zip code up. Is is 61360 Seneca IL. Not Peoria! I'm sorry, I transposed the numbers in the add. I have no problem with deposit via paypal. I am registered and probably have done 50+ transactions through paypal. (6/14/2006)
Question: to reclarifiy, you can not shipp this unit by 1 ton truck. My price included all state route permits and insurance. for more info on my co. go to ["per uShip rules members cannot be directed offsite" - uShip, website removed] click on service providers, go to map click on IL. go to "W" at top. this takes you where you can get more info. did you measure the whole box width? did it include the width of the tip out (6/15/2006)
Response: toterguy1, I'm going to need to you submit the bid so we can talk more details. Main part of the trailer is 8' with the tip out it is 11'6". Tip out is permanant. cant't be put in. (6/15/2006)
Question: Hello again. I have talkled with DOT today and you "CAN Transport with a 1 TON Truck". I am awaiting for the permits and to contact Indiana and Kentucky. I am almost positive I will be able to bypass Ohio. It is lookin better now so I will contact you tomorrow afternoon more towards the morning and then place a bid. Thanks again, Jeremy (6/15/2006)
Response: thanks jeremy, I will be real busy friday during the day but will check a few times in the afternoon. I do have to head to lexington, KY in early evening. So please try to get in before 6pm. thanks (6/15/2006)
Question: I am going to quote the way the law reqads on shipping this unit."all towing vehicles must have as a minimum dual wheels on drive axle AND have a licensed GROSS vehicle weight GVW of at least equal to the combined weight of towing vehicle plus load. UP to 13'11 must be 1.5 ton manufacturers capacity. I tried to bid on this unit through uship, however I do not have a credit card. Uship will not accept any other form of payment. Thanks Clarence Bennett Truck Transport (6/16/2006)
Question: What is the length, weight. I can pick up end of next week for more money. Have to dead head with out my trailer from KS to ILL 600 miles. (6/16/2006)
Response: Length 35' width 11'6" Weight around 8000-8500lbs (6/16/2006)
Question: How much do u want to pay? (6/17/2006)
Response: ???? what kind of question is that? I want to pay nothing but since that isn't realistic, I did put the expectation of $1500 (6/17/2006)
