The 7th - we have all day college orientation for Dave's daughter. Fun Fun.
We could be at home early am on Saturday.
We will iron out the orientation times and let you know. (2/1/2009)

Response: No Problem. I'll work with them. Just so they have no problem with pick-up on Sunday, the 8th, if that's how it works out. I think this will all work out OK. Regards, TK (2/1/2009)

Question: Hello. I just entered my bid on transporting your 350. I also sent some information in the Q & A section which has not appeared. If it has not appeared shortly, I will re-send it. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks & regards, "Greyhound" (Kelly Freight Services--"A FULLY LICENSED, INSURED & PROFESSIONAL MOTOR CARRIER") (1/20/2009)

Response: Hi thanks for the bid.
How flexible is your pick up date ?
I think I will need it picked up Feb 2 or later?
Thanks (1/20/2009)

Response: Hi, & thanks for your response. My dates are pretty flexible. As it happens, I have a run heading down to Virginia next week, but I run that route every three or four weeks, so I could get it toward the end of February, if it's not ready to go this trip. Please let me know. Regards, Greyhound. (1/20/2009)

Question: Should I cancel this bid & re-bid for the later timeframe? Please advise. Regards, "Greyhound". (1/20/2009)

Response: not yet I'm still have some details to work out...
it could be sooner than later (1/20/2009)

Response: Sure, no problem. My bid expires on Friday at 3:00 pm CST, but I work from my laptop when I'm on the road, so I'll keep an eye on this one and try to work with you on it. Please keep me posted. Regards always, Tony K. (The "Greyhound") (1/20/2009)

Response: WILL DO.
Thats for the great communication.
That is a pluS+ (1/20/2009)

Response: No problem!! If you review my feedback, communication skills are up there next to quality service!! Please keep in touch. Regards, Tony K. (1/20/2009)

Question: Hi. This is a follow-up of my original bid. Is this still needing to be transported? Please advise as to the necessity of re-bidding. I look forward to your response. Thanks & regards, "Greyhound" (Kelly Freight Services) (1/24/2009)

Response: Yes I am still working things out as to pick up date.
I plan on using you for the project.
so you have the job anyway
just a matter of next week or maybe the week after that
thanks
(1/24/2009)

Response: Hi & thanks for your response. And for your vote of confidence. I'll be making a swing up through the New England area before heading south, so I'll rebid with a wider scheduling date. I anticipate being in southern Virginia for a delivery in early February, so if you're truly flexible, we'll work it out & get it taken care of for you. Regards always, Tony K. (The "Greyhound") (1/24/2009)

Question: Hi. My latest bid expires in about 20 minutes. Please feel free to request my bid whenever this is ready. Hope to hear from you soon. Kindest regards, Tony K. (The "Greyhound"--Kelly Freight Services) (1/30/2009)

Response: Thanks for the update
I am going to use YOU for this shipment even though I have bids for less. I just need to pay the guy the last bit of money I owe him for the bike. I am a commercial fisherman and the weather has been tough for the last 2 weeks preventing me from making my usual income.
When would you like to pick it up?
I'm very close to ready
(1/30/2009)

Response: Hi and thanks for getting back to me. I can appreciate the rough weather & the effect it has on normal income!! In any event, I anticipate being in Virginia during the 6th--8th. I can pick up then; or if you need more time on it, my next trip into the area will be 3 weeks or so. Just let me know how you need to work it & we will go with that. My only issue is weight (for USDOT regulations) & space (for safe transport). If you're not going to be ready for the 6th--8th, I'll try to fill the space. If it will be ready, I'll take it then. Just let me know what you need. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. Thanks for everything, Tony K. (The "Greyhound") (1/31/2009)

Response: is the 6-9th still the VA pickup date ?
I think I'm ready
(2/1/2009)

Response: Yup. Good to go. Regards, Tony K. (2/1/2009)

Question: Hi. I've renewed my bid. Please let me know when you're ready. Regards always, Tony K. (The "Greyhound") (2/1/2009)

Response: also how does payment work ?
(2/1/2009)

Response: Once you accept the bid, you'll be prompted to pay a "deposit" into my account at U-ship. (Deposit should be something like $48.18. This is paid via credit or debit card.) The balance of $325.00 is paid to me in cash upon delivery. Just keep me posted on what's going on. Regards always, Tony K. (2/1/2009)

Response: ok so I should accept the bid ? correct?
(2/1/2009)

Response: Yep! If you're ready to get it done, I'm ready to do it!! LOL Talk to you soon, Tony K. (2/1/2009)

Response: I emailed the people that you will be picking the bike up from to make sure that is ok with them I said 6-8th but probably the 6t or 7th
If they ok that date we are all set
pretty sure they will just want to make sure so I don't mess us all up.
Thanks tony
(2/1/2009)

Response: No problem. I'll keep an eye on this & we'll take it from there. I have a drop in Bristol, Va., as well, so that give me some degree of flexibility while I'm in the area. I usually take care of the scheduling once the job is booked, so as long as they can work with the dates, we're good to go. As for all the back & forth, well, all I can say is that it's part of the job...(LOL) Talk to you soon. Regards, Tony K. (2/1/2009)
