Response: Tom, thank you for your reply. After your reply I thought I'd share a little pertinent information with you. Cargo insurance: I can't speak for anyone else’s cargo coverage but I can tell you this released value cargo on your shipment would only cover your shipment for 1500.00 as it generates value based on weight and not on actual replacement value the value is calculated at .60/lb industry standard. Tom what I always tell my people is that this coverage for these types of shipments is often worthless (for instance a 2007 Benz valued at 60k and weighing 3800/lb would only be covered for 2,280.00 hmmm who always wins with this type of coverage?) instead what I always offer is stated value /replacement value insurance and always at cost, you provide me with a value and I will get us an affordable quote that truly protects you!
