Question: Well here's our situation... We just so happen to live in Colorado and just so happen to be back here on the East Coast... We could drive it along back to Colorado on our return trip back home... I have a Class A CDL so that would be OK to drive it. Does it have a current tag and insurance in place for transport... Question: I would like to take a look at this firetruck before agreeing to transport it, mainly because of it's age and to make sure it could make it up over Wolf Creek Pass. Response: I have not seen the truck just pitures but the guy i bought it from just drove it 500miles and said it drove fine it has new tires and new batterys and the truck only has 25k miles on it i will haft to git ahold of him to get address so you could go by and look at the truck. thanks (8/7/2006)
Question: Sounds great! We typically try to avoid transactions where the buyer bought "sight unseen" because there are always issues between the two parties and we have found it is better to stay out of the middle even though I am only the driver... We would do a very detailed inspection prior to departure and document any damamge or defects for your benefit and satisfaction that you purchased EXACTLY what you think you did...
