Response: Frank, I've had a credible bid for $250, which is about right for a 243 mile journey mostly on highways to ship a 184lb lightweight scooter. The bike is a cream puff, and security/stability in transit are the key. How would you secure and cover the scooter; how would you load/unload it? Would you be available this coming Saturday? Response: I use soft ties and ratchet straps to secure and ramps to load and unload ..... I also use tarps to cover if required .... I have moved alot of bikes this way inlcuding my own .... 250 is reasonable and i will be available saturday .... let me know... and i will submit a bid... thanks frank (8/6/2008)
