Response: No, I am not fighting the 4th week traffic and my return load is not till next week. As I said above, I can pick up next week, I am a USDOT carrier with a fed MC# and I carry the DOT required Liab so fluids do not have to be drained. I do have an enclosed trailer and I have $100,000 cargo Ins but it is $1000 ded.I also carry extra liab so fluids do not have to be drained. I always recommend that the shipper insure their vehicle also because we don't know how adjusters will pay on each vehicle. You would be insuring it anyway so one day would not make any difference.
