Mode of Transport:
This bid is only for a 26' Trojan single screw model. Anything larger the rates will be extra. Please confirm before accepting this bid....I am a Fully Insured Commercial Boat Transporter. I carry $100k Commercial Cargo Insurance to Protect your Investment and can provide proof of my commercial insurance on demand which is expected. Please note Only Commercial Cargo Insurance can cover your Vessel properly when you hire a transporter. I am Registered and Licensed by the US Dept Of Transportation as a Legal Motor Carrier which is very important because Uship does not check for this so it's up to the Shipper to follow up. That is what the DOT/MC numbers stand for in my profile. I specialize in Boat Transportation and offer Hydraulic trailer service with air ride suspension for the softest ride possible, my trailer lifts and lowers boats on and off of blocks/stands. Please have all lose items tied down and or stored in the vessel. All canvas must be removed prior to pick up. Any canvas left up, we will do out best to remove it and store it. We are not responsible for any damages on canvas especially if we are trying to remove it. Brittle canvas tears and rips very easily as well as the snap buttons. We will do out very best preparing the vessel for transport as if it was our own.
JGP Trucking LLC cannot take responsibility for damage due to weakness or inherent dry rot,please keep in mind that the boat has to be strong enough to withstand overland shipment.
All items inside your boat should be stowed and properly secured. Drawers and cupboards should be taped shut. We do not assume any responsibility for damages that occur due to items shifting inside the cabin.
Equipment such as radios, depth sounders, knot meters and such should be removed from their brackets on deck and stowed inside the cabin. All electronics, radar, hailers, horns, antennas, propellers, flag masts, lights, anchor,lights, etc., must be removed, packed securely and securely stored below. JGP Trucking LLC will not be responsible if they are damaged or if they vibrate off.
Plastic or Plexiglas windshields or windscreens should be removed and stored inside the cabin. Plastic cannot withstand the wind pressure. JGP Trucking LLC will not be responsible for any windshields or screens that are damaged during transport due to wind or hail damage.
Due to the inherent problems of a wood boat, JGP Trucking LLC WILL NOT accept any responsibility of damage or loss to a wood boat.
Remove all flag masts, lights, outriggers, antennas, etc.
If your power boat is low enough to ship with the flying bridge on, remove all lights, wheels, masts and windshields that protrude over the bridge. All Plexiglas should be removed and packed below with a cargo blanket. If your power boat is not low enough to ship with the flying bridge on, you will have to have a cradle built for the bridge to be shipped in on the forward deck or cockpit area. Every point touching the deck or rails must be sufficiently padded. Remove all electronics and valuable items from the bridge, pack securely, and store below.
We cannot be responsible for damage due to low hanging tree limbs or branches. Many marinas have this picturesque driveway that can cause major damage to boats. Please let us know in advance if your marina has low tree branches. Also, don’t hesitate to ask your marina to cut these branches back.
Auction/Salvage vessels. JGP Trucking LLC is not responsible for any scratches or damages picked up at an auction. After you inspected the vessel it may of been moved again and damages may of occurred without your knowledge. Photos will be taken at loading and unloading for this reason.
Photos will be taken at loading and unloading on all vessels for insurance purposes. We carry commercial cargo insurance which properly protects you during transport. Prior to transport you may request a copy of my Certificate of Insurance for your records.
Additional Payment Terms:
A deposit of $250 is due at time of booking. All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to pick up or there is a $250 cancellation fee. PayPal is accepted but must be paid in full 24 hours prior to delivery. Uship payments are also welcomed.
