Question: could you have your seller Double check the Front wheel width ? from stud end to stud end. this would be a big factor if i could fit it or not. (3/31/2008)

Response: Yes, I will email him tonight. I'll let you know as soon as I can. Thanks.
Mike
PS - that is also like the outside to the outside of each of the front tires...? Correct? My apologies, I am not good at this...! (4/1/2008)

Response: hey sorry i was on the road the last couple of days... i just made it to vegas. but yes i need to know the widest point of the front wheels which would be the end of the wheel stud sticking out on each side of the truck. if its over 81" it will not fit my trailer. if it is then i can get it on. (4/4/2008)

Response: I updated the information in the ad. But basically it is 73" between the studs and 75" to the outer fenders of the front end. Hope that helps! (4/4/2008)

Response: long as its that narrow i would have no problem loading it on to my trailer. how far to the boarder would you like me to qoute it... (4/4/2008)

Response: If I get to Blaine, WA, that would be great. Otherwise, if it's Seattle then I would have to ensure I get close to the airport. At the same time, I'm conscious of the costs. Thanks, Mike (4/4/2008)

Response: ok here is my Quote: is basicly $1.00 a mile plus uship fees.
To: Blane meet somewhere off i-5 for pickup :$1380.00
To: seatac airport area. :$1250.00
please keep in mind that your truck is very heavy and with the with the weight of the trailer will be close to or over 10k lbs.
the price of diesel is up .80 cents from just 2 months ago. on avg its 4.11 a gal... and with 10k of load i will only get on avg 6-8 mpg and less pulling up the mountains. and will wear the tires on my trailer twice as much as a normal car.
(4/4/2008)

Response: Not sure, but the map associated with the listing says that it is 1269 miles to Blaine, WA. And at $1.00/mi....Also, what are the uship fees? What kind of dates area available? Thanks, Mike (4/6/2008)

Response: im just over in vegas I could leave withing 24hrs its only 3hrs from here for pickup. [content removed - To avoid confusion on the part of the customer, TSP’s may no longer mention “uShip fees”, "uShip commission", or similar language in their Q&A – this will now be a flaggable offense as bids must be all inclusive. -uShip]
...if i take off 100 bucks i work for 1155.00 it will be be a total of right around 1275.00 to blaine . i will put in a bid check it over. thanks.
(4/6/2008)

Response: for somereason my last message didnt post and neather did my bid. i will post up my bid if you have any questions submit them in my bid soon as you do it will call my phone and i can get right back to you within min's
anyway yes its 1269 miles which is $1269 this is the total a buck a mile. i made a error on that post. (4/6/2008)

Response: I am going to try and talk to seller tomorrow as someone else has quoted a little less, but that is because they can drive the truck up. Are there specific dates that work better (or worse)? Thanks, Mike (4/6/2008)

Response: ok i will be taking my trailer north to olympia then it will be dropped off for the next month im going to be running some boats. so really for about a month i will not have a trailer down here. also if your going to have someone drive it make sure that they have commercial insurance that covers them "Driving *all autos*" with full coverage. not just liability, (4/7/2008)

Response: So, you wouldn't be able to pick it up till after May 7/08? (4/7/2008)

Response: basicly. im sitting here in vegas right now awaiting a full load before i go. i dont run my truck empty because of the cost of fuel. also when i do get up there i already have a trailer going south so i will not be taking my tilt bed. (4/7/2008)

Response: So you can either pick truck up very soon or not for a while. If so, I will try to get hold of the seller now to see what I can do. I saw your truck on your profile...nice rig! Would/could you pick mine up to fill your load coming up? Mike (4/7/2008)

Response: thanks you i love my truck 320k miles and still no mechanical break downs, only thing i have had to replace was the alt. and a clutch.
yes it would fill my trailer i only have a small 3 wheeler to pickup in the la area thats going to close to my house. other then that im full. ive only got room for one car / truck.. unlike other transporters on here i dont haul 3 cars at a time. its very hard on the truck to pull close to there max weight i end up passing them on the hills in 5th at 60 without haveing to down shift (4/7/2008)

Response: I have a call in now to the seller. (4/7/2008)

Question: Hello, Is having the vehicle driven to WA an option. (4/1/2008)

Response: Yes, it is an option. (4/1/2008)

Response: Well, after doing my research on getting to Ridgecrest, CA the closest i can get with public transportation is Mojave, CA which is about an hour away. Can the truck be picked up there? Also, will the truck be Insured and have up to date tags or a moving permit for transporting. Thanks, Mike (4/1/2008)

Response: I will ask about getting to Mojave, CA. And, I will look into the tags and moving permit. But I am from Canada so please bear with me while I search. Thanks, Mike (4/3/2008)

Response: I figured you lived in Canada. I'm in Washington myself. Let me know what you find out. I'll need more info on the truck before I can place a bid. Thanks again, Mike (4/3/2008)

Response: That obvious, eh! I am trying to determine what is needed via internet and I will go to my insurance branch tomorrow. Thanks Mike (4/3/2008)

Response: Sounds good. If they wont Insure the truck while its here I can put it on my Insurance Policy for the trip only if needed. Shouldnt be more than about $15 a day for full coverage with me Insuring it. Keep me posted. Thanks again, Mike (4/3/2008)

Response: OK, my insurance company is not much help here. They have said that I have to go to DMV and get some sort of permit for transportation. They had said that it would be fairly inexpensive...but no idea of cost! Thus, I would probably need/ask you to get insurance. Thanks, Mike (4/4/2008)

Response: Good Morning, The Insurance shouldnt be a problem. Does the truck have up to date tags? If not, can the seller get a moving permit. Also, did you find out if the truck can be picked up in Mojave, CA? Do you have an idea on the MPG for the truck. As of now I can give you a quote for $950 with the truck getting 10 MPG, $850 if the truck gets 15 MPG. These quotes include full coverage Insurance for the trip only and a delivery to SeaTac Airport. Will this work for you? Thanks, Mike (4/5/2008)

Response: Hello Mike,The seller hasn't gotten back regarding getting it to Mojave. If/when he does I will ask if he would get a 'moving permit'. The truck should get at least 15 mpg. It should be 18-21 mpg. But I will definitely confirm this with the seller and let you know. Mike (4/6/2008)

Response: Thats fine, But please understand that a seller will tell you what is in there best interest. As of now I am out $1252 for sellers telling the buyers false MPG's. My bid will be based on what ever the seller tells you the MPG is but if the truck gets less MPG will you cover the extra cost for fuel. (4/6/2008)

Response: I will definitely cover extra fuel costs. I am not here to gouge anyone; I just want something fair for everyone. I will try the seller back tomorrow, as I only have a work number for him. Mike (4/6/2008)

Response: Thank you for the info Mike. With 15 MPG at $3.50 a gallon, Fuel cost will be $255. If the truck gets higher than 15 MPG I will refund all the amount of the $255 not used to you at the time of delivery as long as you will pay all fuel cost over the $255. My bid will be for $850 which includes full coverage insurance for the trip to Seattle. Please let me know if this will work for you. I can give you an itemized list of what the shipment will cost me if needed, just let me know. Also need to know when your looking at having the truck picked up. If your flying into Seattle I will meet you at the Airport and hand you the keys to your truck at that time. Please let me know when you find out about me picking up the truck in Mojave, CA. I will be out on a delivery (Boise, ID to Omak, WA) from Monday nite to Wednesday morning and would like to know before I leave but will be checking my email during the trip. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks again, Mike (4/6/2008)

Response: Thanks Mike. I will try to contact the seller tomorrow and get back to you. Some one has bid but I was hoping to get under $1k (maybe $1100). But I will look at both (because they differ in type of transport) and let you know. I should have asked before but are there dates that work or don't work better? Thanks and hope you have a good trip. Mike (4/6/2008)

Response: Mike, My plans have changed at the last minute. The truck I was to pick up tomorrow has been delayed until this weekend so I can pick up yours at the begining of next week if that will work for you. If you accept my bid now i will drop it down to $800 so i can purshase a cheaper train ticket. let me know if this will work. Thanks, Mike (4/7/2008)

Response: Mike, I went with a small transport company. That way I can get it up without fear of something braking down on you. Thanks, Mike (4/7/2008)
