Response: hi does it run n is it just a dirt bike.Indian (10/15/2009)

Response: It is actually a 1974 sc 500 yamaha. the owner says the carb loads up on it and he can't ride it.He said it was too fast!!! The bike is original, with some expected skins and scrapes, but generally a well preserved survivor...Are you familiar with these bikes, I'm sure you understand the survivor part...It doesn't need to be handled with kid gloves, but it don't need to get beat up any worse than it is. Froo-froo antiquers and gun collectors call it "patina" (10/15/2009)

Response: was askin about the one u want to get rid of,n anybike i haul is treated very carefully.Indian (10/15/2009)

Response: yes the xr600l runs. I bought it from my brother-in-law to help him out of a bind. I'm taking it today to a friends shop to get the top-end done on it (it smokes pretty bad) the front brakes need to be looked at and possibly fork seals. I have ridden the bike one time just to see what it was about, it doesn't fit in with my "junk". I'm partial to Yamadogs and the newest one I have is a'78 it400. We also have some vintage flattrack stuff that we race. I've got 1500.00 in the Honda now, and will probably spend about 5-600.00 getting it straightened out. If I could get 15 for it now, or 2k for it after it's fixed I'd be cool. If not it can sit and get ridden from time-to-time. (10/15/2009)

Response: it's worth it but i don't ride dirt bikes bad back, let me know about shipping the Yam.thanks Indian (10/15/2009)

Response: They(?) red flagged one or more of my messages... I'm supposed to call the seller at 1500est today. All I need to know is how he wants to handle payment. (10/16/2009)

Response: hi because u put ur e-mail in there,no contact untill bid is accepted.let me know how he is paying.for the Shipping.Indian (10/16/2009)

Response: I will pay the shipping. How much will I owe you?
Do you need a deposit? Who pays uShip? Can you handle the transfer of funds? It will be a certified or cashiers check made to seller. How soon will you pick up the bike, and when will I see it? (10/16/2009)

Response: sorry the spot got booked, maybe next time/Indian (10/16/2009)

Response: Not cool, I guess that's why I don't like doing business by e-mail...no accountablilty, folks can squirrel out with no remorse. not a confidence building event. Man in Lubbock is expecting someone to come pick up a motorcycle. I Guess I don't understand how ya'll do business, and I don't want to. (10/17/2009)
