Hi Sean, Thanks for your bid. In an open pickup truck, how will my bike and small box of parts be protected from damage or theft? The wheelie bar is going to be strapped to the bike instead of being installed on it. I definitely don't want to lose that. My only other concern is after I accept the bid, it being cancelled. I like the idea that you take pictures and send them to me along the route.

Hello, Gary, I understand your concern on the damage and theft. I sleep in my truck most every night during transport, and may stay in a hotel one night on a coast to coast haul. I rachet strap the bike to the truck 3-4 ways and usually if i'm going to be away for any period of time I strap everything together in the bed. Bike to my ramps to my tool box and cooler. I carry $100,000 in cargo coverage in case of any incidents. Small boxes would be put in my truck when spending the night somewhere. I also should have a boat or small camper in tow so for someone to really be able to get at the bike to take, they would really have to move the truck and trailer first. As for being cancelled after you accept, I've had 4 cancels total with uship, 3 were due to shippers issues with ownership or condition of trailers and 1 was due to Uships new Safepay program which the service providers like myself were not notified to, and I had no account set up yet. Hi Sean,I'm seriously considering your bid. I was hoping to get the bike here sooner and am tempted to wait a little and see if I get other bids closer to what I was hoping to pay but you seem like a really good shipper and I am already comfortable with you bringing my bike to me. The fact that you live nearby is also a plus. I have the 22nd through the 26th off for vacation and will be here and want to work on the bike during that time so as long as you can get the bike to me by then, everything should be ok. I will let you know today after I get home from work. If you had bid $450, I would have accepted it already as that is only $50 over what I was hoping for. Gary
Hi Gary, I'm simply waiting to hear from my current boat customer on an actual delivery date in Portland. I think it will be around the 12th-13th so we could be good to go around then. Gary, payment on delivery is great, can you do cash? As of this morning, I am scheduled to make a delivery in Portland on the 13th. Should be able to pick your bike up that afternoon. Sean
Hi Sean, Cash is no problem. I will accept your bid as soon as I get home. I'm at my sisters now and forgot my wallet with my credit card in it for the deposit. We had to take my Mother to the hospital and have her stay there. Should be home in about an hour. Gary
