This bike is special to me I would ask for four soft ties and front wheel chock,and covered with a soft blanket.The $550. is fine because I feel you will take care with my bike.Everyone else that has responded has had an open trailer or the back of a pickup.That wont do for this bike.Send me your bid and let me know what is next as I am new to U Ship THANKS Lowell (1/12/2008)

Response: Terry,This is a special bike to me and I like your feedback.I want someone that will treat it with special care, Four point soft ties, front wheel chock and covered with a soft blanket.I dont mind the $550 if the bike is well protected. I beleive you guys are up to the job.So far everyone that has inquired has had an open truck or the back of a pick up out in the elements That will not do for this particular bike. Question: Thanks for the bid request. I am scheduled into Ca. with an enclosed truck 2/9. Will be back in Okla 2/12. That would be the soonest I could pick up. We are based by Ada. Price would be $575 because my other load is by Sacramento and the out-of-route miles to pick up your bike is expensive in a truck. Let me know if you would like us to place the bid. You would be hauling a bmw R90S.I am a vintage collector and this is a special cycle for my collection ,It is an unrestored original.I would like it secured with 4 soft straps and a wheel chock,with a soft blanket over it.I want someone to really take care of it and I am sure you will. Response: Thanks for the quick response. I will have my office place the bid first thing tomorrow. Bike will be secured with soft ties & ratchet straps and totally away from anything else on the truck. I have moved some $65k custom bikes & never had a problem. When bid is accepted, we will have contact info for each other. Uship will charge you a deposit upon acceptance of the bid & my office will send you an invoice for the balance.
