Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello, Thank you for the request. I only go as far south as Houston or San Antonio. Let me know if that would work for you. Thanks, Matt(WolverineTransport) (7/31/2008)
Response: sorry, that doesn't work. I need it delivered here (7/31/2008)
Question: Thank-you for the bid request, but I do not know at this time when I will be in your area. Thanks again (7/31/2008)
Question: Hello and thanks for the abid request, but i do not know exactly when i will be in the pick up area. Good Luck, SamB37917 (7/31/2008)
Question: Hello - would the shipper (or originating location) be willing to place & secure bike to suitable skid / long pallet or OEM like crate base so as to be acceptable for common carrier service? ... THX (8/5/2008)
Response: The person at the originating location can not do any of the work. It is agreeabnleo to have it secured to a skid or long pallet for shipment though if someone else can secure it. (8/5/2008)
Response: understand and here's a suggestion given what you said ... local bike dealers often have used / salvaged OEM crate bases which may be acquired or most will even pickup locally and “palletize” or crate the bike properly for shipment albeit for a fee but they are well versed in this need ... drop shipping to another dealer is good too as they can “de-crate” the bike & may even give you some credit back for the crate base? ... this would also offset common carrier accessorial charges as bike would then be coming from (or going to) business type locations instead of residential to residential ... just an idea ... let me know which one of these might be a doable option & can then bid to suit ... THX (8/5/2008)
Response: lets try the dealer to dealer option (8/5/2008)
Response: understand & as per your response, bid rated: “Business to Business” (dealer to dealer) both with loading dock or forklift ... Shipper (consignor) to load "palletized" bike to back of truck & Consignee to unload same from back of truck... if deciding to deliver to residential, then additonal charges would apply ... Do you have any questions or require rate and/or service clarification?? ... If so, then please ask before accepting ... THX (8/6/2008)
Response: So shipper would deliver to a dealer then bike would be shipped to a dealer near me for pickup? (8/6/2008)
Response: essentially yes ... ask shipper for nearest dealer or do a google search .. call dealer to find out how much to prep bike / "palletize" for shipment ... am told Harley OEM crate bases are some on the best for "re-usability" but other brand crate bases work too ... hope this helps (8/6/2008)
Question: FYI - have re-bid again as: “Business to Business” (dealer to dealer) both with loading dock or forklift ... Shipper / seller (consignor) to have dealer "palletized" bike & to load to back of truck & other dealer (drop shipment location) unload same from back of truck... if deciding to deliver to residential, then additonal charges would apply ... Do you have any questions or require rate and/or service clarification?? ... If so, then please ask before accepting ... THX (8/13/2008)
Question: Hello again - and was curious as to your posting’s status or awarded outcome. Had you let it lapse / cancel out as being of no longer a need or did you get it covered by other means? ... Perhaps timing wasn't conducive for you to be able to make a decision regarding my bid submission and/or other issues took precedence. None-the-less and should you have any other or likewise transportation needs, then by all means kindly contact me for a rate / service quote. In order to do so and for future reference, please click on my uShip ID in this message’s “From” field. This will direct you to my uShip profile page where you can click “Add to Favorite Providers”. ~ Inquires, referrals and good news always welcomed ... Thank you ~ (8/14/2008)
