Response: I am sorry to be a nag....but if you can do this please lets get started...its JULY 2nd and the seller is calling me asking when the shipper is picking up the boat because he hasnt been contacted(and of course I cant get your contact info until you bid) and I am afraid I will lose my boat.(and I have already bought it!) Question: Thank You for requesting a bid from us, but to leagally transport your boat we couldn't even come close to you lower bids. Oversize prermits are required for every state traveled in, (tolls and permits including NY City would be over 400.00.) Anyone with a valid MC authority is required to have a 1,000,000.00 in Liability Insurance, which really shouldn't concern you as much as making sure they have Cargo Insurance which is what covers your boat. Add fuel, food, an experienced driver, a truck large enough to safely handle your boat and we would not come close. But Thank You for asking. (7/3/2009)

Response: Well.....the job is,no doubt, worth $1200 but I would sure like to have it done $950-$1000 including permits/tolls. I've gotten a few bids lower than that but they just dont seem realistic. I paid only $3000 for the boat and trailer(the trailer alone is worth that).I'm not rich and my boat is only worth a few thousand more than I paid (you're not moving a cadillac!!)..its a surprise gift for my elderly father from the whole family (he always dreamed of a fishing boat!)and no...you dont need to launch it...its going to a marine mechanic after dad sees it to be brought to good shape so it may be ready by FALL.(it needs a good cleaning too..and some bottom paint)But it's on a good,reg&ins,late model trailer thats ready to travel.I have seen your page and your feedback and I feel like you are one of the few good fish to bite my hook (pun intended) The seller is anxious to have it picked up ASAP...so PLEASE BID.I've got a feeling you are the guy...and P.S. I am a very patient person but,alas, my seller is getting freaky....he wants it picked up MONDAY NIGHT 7/6 and I am afraid if I dont p/u soon he will return my money and I will lose the boat. the permits still gotta be pulled and I have got to somehow get him to wait just a few more days. Response: I was real surprised when you cancelled the bid....[content removed – unrelated to services offered].....the trailer the boat is on is in great shape and road ready the seller says....Its a 2004 Venture tri-axle so its not an old timer like the boat is....its registered and insured and legal and the seller will leave it that way until its in my yard in NC....he's a great guy. I am still worried though that I wont be able to put together a deal on this site. Response: If you read my Q+A on this listing you will see I have had bids from 600.00(what a joke) to 1500+ (out of my price range)...I feel that my boat is wide and requires permits and such but it is on its own LEGAL ,TAGGED late model trailer and its not a DONZI or Nautique or anything...just an old girl needing a new home(already named her the NANCY NELL after my dads beloved mother...she is a gift to my dad)....I would be overjoyed to stay around 950-1000.......and you seem to have the experience and feedback and all....so BID,BID,BID...thanks...jeri (7/5/2009)
