Response: Hi John, Well it's 1300 miles but I may be able to work this out. The stopping over point would be Solon, IA (I have a secure inside storage building there at my residence) and from there to Cheyenne. BTW - do you have any relatives in Brighton? Response: No no relatives in Brighton-it is a small world though. Could you please let me know how much you would charge and when you could pick the Rolls Royce up in Algonac Michigan. Response: Hi John, Lucky guy is right!! When is the b'day? Does it need to be there by then? My truck is in TX right now. Back in about Saturday. I can bring a trailer up to Algonac if necessary but I'd rather bring the truck with the heavy trailer. If there's a sense of urgency here I may be able to scoot over there over the weekend but I was kind of wating for the truck to get back so I can take a '48 Chevy to Toledo to the brother in law. We then have another trip scheduled south that requires a delivery by the 20th. Back here by the 22nd. But I'd like to get it there for the b'day if that hasn't already happened. I would think that the price will be $775 and that'll include the 14% that U-ship takes right off the top (which is why they deleted your email) and leave me about $665 for the trip. But the $775 would be all inclusive per their requirements. I know it's $100 more than your other bids but you were dealing with brokers for the most part who will bid and then sell the load. .. Response: Bruce That sounds great. We are going to accept your bid. Now we have told Cindy that we will pay $100.00 deposit at the pickup and she will pay you the remainder when you drop the car off. They are very good people and very trustworthy. I am not sure if Gary's birthday has past or not. We would like the car to be picked up on Monday of next week if this works for you. That would be the 16th of November. We have to bring the car over from Ontario, so we can meet at a spot of your choosing in Algonac. Cindy would like the car there by the end of next week if possible. That gives you a bit of time. (11/10/2009)

Response: Hi John, Thanks!! Is Algonac the closest drop off point for you? If so that's fine. I'll shoot for Monday and keep you posted. I'll put in a little wiggle room time wise in the bid but I always make every effort to be on time - sans any break downs or weather issues. BTW - I spent my summers as a kid in Florence, Bothwell and Thamesville. My cousin used to teach in Wallaceburg and Sarnia. High school I think. I have lots of family on your side - Snary's and Greenwoods mostly. - Another subject. What's the deal with the Matthews? Did you buy it? I used to have a 1937 Matthews stock cruiser - a 38'er - the Coquette - that I kept over at Port Clinton on Catawba Island. Always wanted a stock 42'er. Response: We have a 37 Matthews and are in the process of buying the 42 ft Matthews. We just need to find someone who can move it from London Ohio to Marblehead Ohio. This is where we in 1 1/2 years are moving to. We have a 37 ft Chris Craft TRi cabin in Marblehead which we love. Port Clinton and Marblehead are beautiful areas. Seems we know alot of the same areas, just never ran into each other till now. Life is funny. Try for Monday please as we are leaving for Vermont on Monday night. (11/10/2009)
