Response: Does your boat have gas or diesel engines? I own a 32' Chris Craft with flybridge and mine only weighs 11,500. I maybe wrong, but I don't believe 18,000#'s is right. (8/24/2007)

Question: Hello, Great boat and it is heavy. All Chris' from that era were built like tanks. Some thoughts... Moving the boat sooner will get it out west before the snow storms. It's not unusual to get wicked weather in October in the mountains. Height is very important, especially in Michigan. Our trailer can load 9" off the ground and a total height of 14' is a lot cheaper. I know the whole bridge comes off, but perhaps removing the venturi windsheild, steering wheel, and seating would be enough. You will need an escort in Michigan and Indiania due to width at about $1.50 a mile. Can you have the boat measured and see if my suggestion will gain 9"? Otherwise be carefull who pulls the full bridge doesn't chop the wiring all up. Once I know your height I will bid. Ed boatinmn (8/16/2007)
Response: the boat is 13'8" from bottom draft to top of flybridge. I'm going to have the bridge removed which would put the boat at 11'3". I need to decide on a driver in the next week or so. (8/19/2007)
