Question: Hi,71 Cheyenne owner, That's a nice truck, we would be pleased to ship it to Calif. for you. further we are honored that you requested a bid from us. Please bare in mind that we are a TRUE "door to door" hauler. Meaning your truck will be in a two car enclosed van that its soft suspended and towed by an airride truck. transported and delivered by the same driver/trailer unit. We do not terminal or transfer nor pick up on a flat bed tow truck then bring to a terminal lot. Only to wait for a stack hauler to pick it up. The stack hauler could even be going part distance and drop it at a terminal near you only to wait for another truck or stack hauler to deliver. Our quote will reflect up to a 40% difference in price. We will do the best we can to give you our lowest rate and a guaranteed 7 day delivery from pick-up. Response: this is a regular truck no thing has been molested, and it should fid in all standart trailers open or enclosed. (12/30/2007)
Response: Hi Miguel The widest trailer I have is 102 inches, The walls are 2.25 inches thick per side,[inside trailer dimensions are 97in. wide by 69 inches tall] the rear door is 95.5 inches. your specifications say the truck is 96 inches wide, I think your specs are off., I tend to agree with you that it should fit. also the space between the wheel wells is 74 inches.you didn't give the wheelbase. I would prefer shipping in an enclosed trailer since my loads west call for enclosed trailers. The bottom line is I can hold my bid price. (12/31/2007)

Question: Dear Miguel, I just measure our enclosed Trailers, Non of them have wide enough doors, We have an alternative if you are interested and it will be actually better. We have a cocooning system that we put over your vehicle. It consist of a two ply cotton cloth inner cover then we heat shrink a 9 mil thick copolymer cover around the whole truck after we load and bind it to our full decked trailer.This is the same heat shrink that is put on yachts. We do this for high dollar vehicles and boats.I normally get $245 for cocooning but I would include it in my bid at no charge. Otherwise you are going to have to revert to the top deck off one of an open carrier and its a sure bet they wont give you the same delivery guaranty or the insurance coverage that we do. and direct door to door like we do.
