Response: As a follow-up to your question, I'm not in a big hurry to get these bikes to Texas and I'm willing to look at options in order to reduce the amount I pay to get them shipped. I'm looking for the best deal to get the bikes to Texas. Also, they don't need to come to my home or even make it all the way to Texas. My whole family lives in Kansas City and I could have one of them pick up that bikes at a terminal in KC if that is a cheaper or more convenient location. I am also willing to travel to another city and pick up the bikes if that can lower my cost of shipping. I am also open to other ideas if you have them. Thanks! Jeff Anderson (9/24/2008)

Response: $330 is a possibility once I confirm with my wife. She already thinks I'm crazy for buying this old bikes so I don't want to make things worse. But, I need to understand/ confirm the following items: 1. Your policy on damage, loss, theft etc. 2. Are you picking up at the specified location(a residence in Medford, NJ) & dropping off at my home in McKinney, TX? If not, how does drop off & pick up work? 3. Currently the bikes are being stored at a friends home in Medford. I have boxed up & secured all of the loose parts but the bikes have not been crated or placed on a pallet. The bikes are light (75 - 150 lbs. each), have wheels & tires (although flat), roll fairly easily & can be picked up by one fairly strong person. Will you pick up in that condition & place on a pallet or crate for me? 4. What is your estimated pick up date and drop off date? 5. Your description states you need cash on delivery. I just want to make sure so I have the $330 her when delivered. (9/24/2008)
Response: Yes the price is correct and cash on delivery is preferred but PayPal can be used but 4% needs to be added on the remaining balance if that method is used. The collection details and drop off points are as you request damage has never been an issue, but will be covered, I will not require the bikes to be paletized (9/24/2008)
Question: Hi! I can load these on Saturday and deliver in TX within 3 days. Bikes will be strapped down inside an enclosed air-ride truck. This is for door-door service. I can do this for $287. Response: Thanks for your response! Are you talking about this Saturday September 27th? To confirm, these bikes role but are not operational and do not have any fuel in them. Two medium sized cardboard boxes of parts need to be picked up at same location. You will pick up at residence in Medford, NJ and deliver to residence in McKinney, TX? I don't need to pack or crate or do anything to prepare the bikes for shipment, correct? If so, I am interested. (9/25/2008)
Response: Thanks for the response. Yes, that is correct, I will pick up in Medford(the 27th between 11pm-2pm), and deliver to Mckinney. I have a liftgate and will load them inside the truck and strap them down and use furniture blankets if necessary. If the timeframe is ok, let me know and I will submit my bid.
