Bid placed 12/6/2007 3:11 PM CST
Expired on 12/8
this is a very nice bid. since im in a relocation program i probally can not formally accept by 12/8 because im still waiting on the actual close and move in date before i confirm. are you already planning to be in the area between 12/26 and 12/28 which contributes to the lower cost? I also will need to confirm when I would be able to pick up and take it to my new home. not sure if it will be be before 1/2 or a few weeks after
Yes I will be in the area and that's why I can do it for that price. I will extend my bid til the 9th and as far as the delivery date no worries like I said I have a Hugh garage. It was a old fire house they just built a new one a block away and I am now renting the old one. you can imagine how nice it is the fire department guys are always cleaning . It looks brand new on the inside and it is climate controlled. let me know thanks~Mike
got it so if you picked them up from NJ around 12/28 where would the cars be stored if lets say delivery would be required to be in miami around 1/8. When do you think you would look to be in miami? do you have a run already set up down there
I have a run planed now to be in the Florida area b4 the 2nd so my next trip down would probably be leaving around the 12th of January and that would put me in Miami b4 the 16th. It usually takes me 4 days with stops in between to get to Miami unless I do them back wards but normally I don't because I need my trailer empty to start reloading for the northeast. Those dates could be sooner but I like to be realistic and that way if I'm early everyone is happy I have never been late yet for a delivery and I don't want to start now. Thanks~Mike
ok i get it but still would like to understand where your storage place is? Virgina? and to insure that it is secured. No one around driving or break in etc while you are on the road. Also would like to better understand any security that you have. Sorry to ask so many question but both of my cars are very rare and 1 of a kind and even insurance could not replace them if somthing event wrong or they where damaged etc. For an example none of them have even been in the rain.
Could you also confirm that the prowler will fit in your truck with good clearence width wise? it has a very funky shape with the wheels sticking out on the side
Prowler Exterior:
Wheelbase - 113"
Overall Length - 165"
Overall Width - 76"
Overall Height - 51"
Track (f/r) - 62"/63"
Turning Diameter - 39'
My storage location is in Newburg, Md close to the intersection of 301 & 257. I have the garage insured alone for over 200,000.00. I also have a security system from ADT installed inside on every door and window. All the windows are nailed shut and covered so no one can see inside. I keep both my Harley's and my 32 ft RV inside and I have one customer who keeps his GTO I believe it is a 67' in there now for the winter months. I don't mind the questions I want you to feel Comfortable with everything. As far as the Prowler fitting in side my trailer, the width of my trailer is 96" wide so that should be no problem. I would be there to pick up these cars myself and the only way they will be moved is from the trailer to garage and back onto the trailer.
mike sounds great. I ask if you can extend you bid to at least Tuesday because I'm working with a corporate relocation company, they is handling my move, buying my home and getting us into the new house. Right now its looking like we will not be into our actual home until the 2nd or 3rd week of Jan but im really not 100% sure yet. I just recieved the number to confirm some addtional details today and need to contact them on monday in order to get a better feel on move dates etc. I think a pick up around 12/26 - 12/28 is good but i really need to make sure everything is clear before I accept. i like your style and honesty

where is your storage location? if you picked up the week of 12/28 in Nj and had to deliver in miami the week of 1/9
I could store them in my 3 car garage if needed. It is my home garage. My wife is home all the time and it is a very safe neighborhood.:)
thank you for your response can you please provide the location of where your home garage is for reference purposes between Nj and miami
Wesley Chapel, NC. It is a suburb of Charlotte, NC
when do you think that you would be able to deliver back in the Miami area. Right now we are looking to leave NJ on the 28th. We probally will not close on the new home until 1/8. Just trying to get a feel of your shipping routes target time etc based on these dates. Please confirm that the storage during this time included would be included in your 1500 bid cost
It would be hard to say an exact delivery date, but we are in the south florida area about every week and a half. That would mean I would estimate about 1 1/2 weeks after you told me they could be delivered, possibly longer or sooner. If they would need to be stored it would make it a little more complicated delivery to manage, compared to a straight route. Therefore it would be an additional $500.00 to store and we would require half of the total up front. We never ask for money until it is delivered, but with not getting anything to cover the expenses for a couple weeks, we would need to in this case. I hope this helps. Without breaking uship rules, it makes it a little tough to iron out all the details until a bid is accepted and we exchange numbers. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Thanks, Joe
