Response: Jeep is located 1/2 hour from Syracuse but I have not legally taken possession of it as of yet. I have a friend handling the purchase for me this coming weekend or the next, then it will be ready for pick up in Syracuse either next sunday or the following weekend. Question: I can place your Jeep inside my enclosed trailer for this shipment, this way its protected from any type of road debris that could chip the paint or any other type of ROAD RASH, if this was placed on an open transport fluids could leak from a car above yours and sometimes damage can occur this way. Your vehicle would be loaded inside my trailer and never be off loaded to another trailer like larger transport companies do. Your vehicle will be covered under my insurance for no extra cost to you which could save you hundreds of dollars alone. Response: I'm looking for your type of service since my jeep has no top and would prefer enclosed shipper but I've already paid someone $100 in NY to pick jeep up and bring to another location where I can keep jeep until I find a proper transport to Florida. Response: If it would not be too much trouble for you, I would also have an extra set of 4 small car wheels(14") with tires already mounted to bring at same time if you could, they are where the jeep is. You could put them in the back of jeep and chain them to roll bar or chain them on your flatbed. I think my buddy could lend you a chain and lock if you don't have one. Could it be a little later as I have to arrange for someone to meet w/you where the jeep is in Lafayette just outside Syracuse. Tarps sound like they might scratch my paint with rubbing and such, unless you can shrink wrap it or put foam between paint and tarp, not sure what would be best. (10/23/2007)

Response: Sounds fair to me, and I do understand about diesel costs rising. When could you schedule pick up? I need to make sure my friend Bill can be available so he can unchain the jeep and hand over keys to you. Weekends are better for him, very early mornings are fine, he's up at 6. The sooner the better as it has already snowed up on the hill where I keep it I don't want the jeep to sit in the snow too long, it is a classic afterall.
