Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Could you please get me the width with the mirrors folded in (if they do fold in). My enclosed trailer is 77.5" wide. Might be down that way on the 15th. Would I need to pick up during business hours or is this at a residence? Please check my feedback. Thank you, markbaker (10/4/2005)
Response:
Hi Mark, The width would be fine. It is under 77.5" ( or 6.45 feet). One of the mirrors is off and the other one is very small. I have a bumper and some spare parts inside the passenger compartment and backseat. I had to take the grill out of the front seat to move it but it weighs next to nothing Less than 5 pounds). Though the car does not run, it rolls. The keys are with it and all you have to do is turn the key to put it in drive or reverse. The pick-up location is at a residence so, anytime would be fine. Just let me know so I can call the guy. It's right off I-95. This is a project I plan to tinker with (between deployments)! Would you like to bid me a price? Tim (10/4/2005)
Question:
I can not make a formal bid because I need a load down there, otherwise the fuel alone would be more than $450 just to get it. I will keep in touch. markbaker (10/5/2005)
Question:
If the timing is good for the week of the 19th, how much are you willing to pay since you turned down my first bid? "Yachtman" (10/6/2005)
Response:
Hi Yachtman, I'm afraid my budget is only $450. (I'm in the military and a serviceman's pay with 3 kids doesn't go far.) The week of the 19th is fine. However, if I cannot find a shipper within my budget, I'll have to take off a few days at the end of the month and go fetch it myself. I'm due to deploy probably near the end of the month and I was hoping to get it up here by then so my Uncle can work on it while I'm gone. Thank's Tim (10/6/2005)
Question:
Hey Tim, I can haul this for your price. I am ready to go right now! One question, is there anyone on both ends to help me roll it up onto the trailer? Please let me know asap! Thank You! (10/7/2005)
Response:
Sorry it took so long to get back to you but I cannot accept this vehicle before the 14th. If you are still available, let me know. Tim (10/7/2005)
Question:
If this is still available for shipping, I can do it for that target price. I will have a job down to the FT Lauderdale area on this coming monday, with the possibility of getting to Pensacola on tuesday. One question is, will there be someone there to help roll it on to the trailor, and someone to help with the unload? (10/12/2005)
Response:
Yes, The job is still available. I will have someone there on Monday (I NEED A TIME) to help roll it onto the trailer. WHat kind of trailer is it? Also, Let me know when you roll into Pensacola and I'll have someone there to help unload. I'LL PAY YOU CASH ON DELIVERY. Tim (10/12/2005)
Question:
I can be there monday morning, with a tuesday afternoon delivery, not before 2 though. Can two people roll it up, you think? I will have a standard U-Haul type trailor if you think that will do? (10/12/2005)
Response:
2 people - maybe 3 at the most. (Me and the other guy did roll it with no problem. Check your trailer measurements. The only possible conceivable issue is just to make sure you have ramps to lower and a way to tie it down on the front and rear axle. Do WE HAVE A DEAL? (10/12/2005)
