Question: Hi shipper, we're an independent moving company based out of Iowa City, IA. We'll be in southern California during the week of June 8th and returning to Iowa. We have a semi with a 53' kentucky trailer and are looking for backhauls. Would these dates work and what price are you looking to ship this for? Do you have a weight estimate for your shipment? Response: Hello assuming everything is a go ( I have not heard from the private seller) I am flexible with dates. Here are the specs 3200 lbs BUT there will be some extra parts to go in the bed so maybe a couple of hundred lbs more 70 inches wide and 185 in long. The truck runs and drives. Response: Hi there, thanks for the response. We're hauling another vehicle from Cali to Omaha for $800 plus uship fees, about $910 total. I'd be willing to give you the same deal, for door to door, fully enclosed transport. If you were willing to come pick up the truck from our warehouse up in Iowa City, saving us the drive down to burlington, I'd knock off another $100. -Billy (6/5/2009)
