Questions for this shipment:

Question: if you dont mind telling me why you said no to me hauling this shipment. (10/15/2007)
Response: Sorry Black Cat - There was no category available that would allow us to select our reasons for declining. They are: 1. The job was just announced today so we'd like allow time for possible better prices 2. We can make the run there and back ourselves for just above our target price. We're hoping for someone with a haulback to help get to an acceptable price. Thanks for checking and appreciate your time. Overboard Marine, LLC (10/15/2007)
Question: Do you know if you have 2 tractors to be hauled yet or not ? I saw you mentioned you may have 2 and that would make the shipment worth it if there were 2 of them . Let me know. I live in Spokane,Wa. TIM/SBM Inc. (10/16/2007)
Response: Hi Tim - When we get the quote for the first we'll know if we can afford to ship both. Feel free to give us your ball park as I know the second tractor will bring down the cost of the first. The overall cost will determine if we bother with the second one. Mark at Overboard Marine,LLC. Thanks ! (10/16/2007)
Question: Hello I'm Tim, I live in Spokane,WA. I own Strictly Business Moving Inc. I have a 26' FL-70 Freightliner FULLY ENCLOSED. My truck is fully lined with E-Track anchoring system for the safest and most secure transport available. I have Ramps RATED for #7000Lbs, as well as a lift gate RATED for #2500Lbs,and a pallet jack RATED for 5000lbs. I use only Soft Touch Tie Downs anchored into E-Track,and all shipments are fully coverd with professional moving quilts. I provide 24 hr a day tracking to all clients VIA Verizon Cell. Please check out my 100% POSITIVE feed back from all previous clientele . Shipping time 2 to 3 days from p/up date. I look forward to hearing from you. If you are interested I can submit a formal bid ASAP. At Strictly Business ltd, we exceed your shipping expectations. Thank You For Your Time. TIM/SBM Inc. (10/16/2007)
Question: It would be the same for both if there were two. I would charge $600.00 for one and if there were two then it would be $1200.00. You said you could drive down, and get the one tractor for just over your target price, which your target price is $500 correct? So it would seem to me that if you can do it for that, you may as well drive on down and get them both and then it would certainly be affordable for you, and you can kill two birds with one stone ( LOL. OH yea though, THAT ($500.00) DOESN'T COVER YOUR TIME THOUGH DOES IT, Hmmmm. That's what you had said to BlackCattrucking(6)that had bid $1107.00 on it atleast. What kind of truck do you have that you pull with?? I'm just wondering because with fuel at $3.15 a gallon in Idaho, and higher in Utah, you must get some kind of great MPG. Fuel is $3.60 in WA. state WOW it's getting bad out here! and everyone wants something for nothing it seems. Present company excluded from that comment of course. TIM (10/17/2007)
Response: Hi SBM, doesn't bother us if someone else does the driving. Looks like the run will be for only tractor. Feel free to submit a quote based on our correspondence. We'd be happy to use you if it works out. Thanks, Overboard Marine, LLC. (10/17/2007)
Question: Is this tractor running? Thanks, Jeff. (10/18/2007)
Response: Hi Jeff, she's a runner, good condition, it has now been determined that we need only one tractor hauled. Thanks, Overboard Marine, LLC. (10/18/2007)
Response: Would someone be available to load first thing in the morning, if I make an accepted bid? I am in Denver, Colorado now. Jeff (10/18/2007)
Response: Hi Jeff, sorry a morning load is unlikely as more lead time was desired. What is your transport method? Best I can tell you is submit a bid. After which, upon acceptance, I will give the address. If you want to take a gamble and drive there hoping the site manager will be on grounds we're okay with that. The site manager operates only by e-mail contact so immediate phone contact is not an option. I have e-mails in to him already and am awaiting contact. The tractor will likely need a 6 volt jump if you have such equipment. Do you have to roll tomorrow morning? Thanks, Overboard Marine, LLC. (10/18/2007)
Question: How soon would you like this delivered...would pickup tomorrow be a possibility? I am in Billings right now, and need to be in CDA Monday afternoon...being that I would have to deadhead to Denver and don't see any other partials on the way back, I would have to be at your $850 target price. Would this work out? Please let me know tonight if possible as I'll have to hit the rack soon if I have a trip ahead of me tomorrow. :-) Thanks! Aaron (10/20/2007)
Response: Hi AGSS, figures. Not enough lead time. We sure appreciate you offering to give it a shot. Keep an eye on this listing in case you're positioned for another try in the near future. $850 is right at our limit. We'll be making the run ourselves if the job does not get picked up. Thanks - Boat Company. (10/20/2007)
Response: Thanks for the response...what is the acceptable timeframe for delivery on this shipment? I'll be back out in the CDA area in 3 weeks if that might work out. AGSS (10/20/2007)
Response: Hi AGSS, three weeks would work. Have you searched this route? There's a few one ways for you. What do you haul with? - Boat Company. (10/20/2007)
Response: I have been looking at the route and have had a few pieces that could have worked but fell through (one required enclosed, the other was a timing issue). Currently, I am using a 20' full-deck car hauler with my Powerstroke (pictured in my profile), but am looking at doubling up the trailer length as I'm finding it somewhat limiting. ;-) Aaron (10/20/2007)
Response: Sounds good AGSS. Contact us when you're back in contention. Thanks - Boat Company. (10/20/2007)
Response: Hi Boat Company, You mentioned you were OK with 3 weeks out...I checked and my next trip to CDA will fall on Sunday 11-18. If I could go down to Franktown next Saturday and pick the tractor up and store it indoors in my 5-car garage in Billings until my Idaho trip, I would be able to accomodate your $750 Book It Now price. What do you think? AGSS (10/21/2007)
Response: Hi AGSS, sounds good. Please make it official and submit a bid. This means we'll be counting on your service and will halt other considerations so please be sure. Otherwise we'll await your bid and look forward to doing business with you. Once the bid is received and accepted we'll prep the Franktown end. Thanks AGSS! Boat Company - (10/21/2007)
Question: I could do the Book It Now but if you want to ship by AGSS I will not. Thanks Ron (10/21/2007)
Response: Hi River, the job is open until we accept a bid. Feel free to reply and let us know what your travel plans would be. Thanks - Boat Company. (10/21/2007)
Response: Leaving this week for MT. Will see whatI can find to where your tractor is located. (10/21/2007)
