Question:
4/26/2014
Is the trailer going to be serviced and inspected prior to use? Tires, wheel bearings, lights, brakes etc? Can you please explain what you are saying about the engine? Is there somehow room on this trailer for it ? Are you thinging that you need a flatbed truck to to the trailer with the engine on the truck? Also, what is the approach and delivery like in Forest Hill? Please describe. Thanks. Allen(MoverVet) Report a Violation
Response: The trailer has not been moved it over 12 years and can not be towed it needs to be put on a flat bed tilt trailer or truck like you would use to move a car. The boat is on the trailer. The engine could be set next to the bow on the flat bed. the road is not trouble to my house. you would be able to back the trailer in my barn. 4/26/2014Report a Violation
Response: Thanks for the prompt reply. I hope the info is useful to another driver but is is not a job for me. I should have read your choices for transport more carefully.4/26/2014Report a Violation

Question:
4/26/2014
I have the perfect trailer for this and can do it any time. My landoll trailer lowers to the ground and will pull your trailer right up on it. It can handle any other freight you want to go at the same time. I also have a bobcat tractor I could bring at extra cost to help maneuver it around to put it exactly where you want it. I can't see anyone doing it for your offer price but I could do it at your convenience for $800. I am based in Davis ca so am right I the middle of the move. Response: I would see no need for a bobcat trailer there would be room for the engine on the flatbed or in the boat we have a forklift I believe $800 is a bit high.4/26/2014Report a Violation
Response: For a seven hour round trip with loading unloading securing the two loads driving 266 miles round trip up windy mountain roads I can't see it being any less than 800 for me. I am a carrier not a broker. With me you get the quality of a job done right with the right tool for the job, right on time. 4/26/2014Report a Violation
Response: I raised my price but I don't understand that you don't have insurance? What does that mean? We are also only 11 miles off the freeway, no wind and the road is a 55mph. 4/27/2014Report a Violation
Response: Thanks for the inquiry. I have the same million dollar trucking liability required of all heavy truckers but I do not carry cargo insurance. I do not haul anything I can't afford to take care of out of pocket. The windy road refers to the condition of the winding road after you get out of auburn. I have been there a lot and it takes a while for a heavy semi to get up the hill. I figured in at least 2 1/2 hours driving each way plus loading and unloading. I appreciate you bringing up the offer and if I can get a load going the other direction it might work out. What is the value of the load?4/27/2014Report a Violation
