Response: If it were going to a city area (such as Winston salem) where a backload is possible, $600 would work. But it is about 200 plus miles out into the outerbanks, and the likelyhood of a backhaul out of that area is very slim. I know I can't do it for less than $750, but there may be someone out there who can. Make a shipper give you an exact date. If they say OPEN on dates, they may not yet have things firmed up. I waited 7 weeks for a hauler that gave me an OPEN bid. (10/23/2007)
