Response: I apologize for sending an improper e-mail. I did not know that we were not supposed to communicate by telephone until after the bid is accepted. I wanted to ask a rather complicated question about possibly combining shipments. I do not think that would work. So, I would like to consider your bid to transport the 1951 Studebaker for $500 in an enclosed trailer, contingent upon my getting a successful title transfer. I received the endorsed MI title today, and will go to the DMV on Wednesday. As of now I do not have a formal bid from you on Uship. Can you send me one? Is it OK with you if I accept your bid on Wednesday night? Also, if I do accept your bid on Wednesday night, on approximately what date do you think you might deliver the car? Thanks. John M. Response: The other shipment would be a 1961 Nash Metropolitan (very small car) from Green Bay, WI (54311) to Fredericksburg, VA (22408). What would it cost to ship the Nash separately the week before Christmas? I am traveling to Green Bay this weekend to finalize the deal. I should have the title transferred by the middle of next week. I would list the shipment with U-ship on Monday of next week and could accept an offer on Wednesday of next week.
