Additional Information: Old Studebaker, unrestored. No engine or trans. No steering column. Should be trailered. Might go on tow dolley but not sure condition of tires or if there is a spare.
Short haul, just over a hundred miles. Destination is only 10 miles from interstate 40 but pickup point is out of the way so this might not be worth it for a long distance hauler. I'll just list this and see if I get a good offer. Otherwise I will have to hire a local homeboy haul it. Report a Violation

Response: The fellow I bought the car from has a friend who can deliver it for $200. I usually get cars towed for about a dollar a mile, more or less depending on the route. So I thought I would post it to see what offers I would get. Looks like I am getting higher bids because it is off the main interstate highways and just a short haul. But it is not so urgent to get it moved right away as I thought so I will see what bids I get. If I get a good bid I will take it, if not I will move it myself in a month or so when I am in that area. Thanks. MWS (1/13/2007)
Question: Thanks for responding to my question/inquirery. Not to far of the beaten path for me, have picked up cars in the Sunbright area before. Response: Tried to answer this once and my email says it didn't go through. Will try again. That might work. If we can work out scheduling. Seller is in college, is only home Saturdays he says. Schedule would have to be worked out. If you think you can work out a time to get it we might be able to deal. Even if it means you getting it on Saturday and sitting on it a few days til you are ready to come to Nashville. Car was bought on ebay, you can still see it at 170050128857. I think he is anxious to move it, I have been putting him off a few weeks at a time. I am just retired from the army, no new job yet so money is a little tight now. That is why just a few $ less on towing makes a difference. Bottom line, looks like a deal if we can work out a time to get it. Another idea, I have another car in Calhoun GA, no rush to move it but might make a combined deal, both at once if you work in that direction, if you are down there and need a load coming back.
