Questions for this shipment:

Question: Could you check the height before I bid. My enclosed trailer is 76" max. Thanks. (6/8/2008)
Response: I am checking with the seller who is at work presently and I shuld be able to update the details on the listing tonight. Thanks. (6/9/2008)
Response: Ok. Let me know. Thnaks. (6/9/2008)
Response: According to technical specifications found on various websites, the measurements for a 1946 1/2 ton pickup are 195 1/2" or 16 1/3' length, 73" width at fenders, and max 73" height depending on tires. So, that would appear to fit in your trailer. However, the seller will be doing measurements tonight to confirm and I will be updating the listing upon verifying the measurements. I will email you directly at the same time. Thank you. (6/9/2008)
Response: Thanks for the info. (6/9/2008)
Response: While I am not certain of the weight, spec info ranges from 3095 to 4600, the length is 195.5 inches, width at widest point 73" and height is 74 inches by spec, 74.5 by seller's measure tonight with full air in tires. thanks. (6/9/2008)
Response: OK. Thanks. I can't pick up till early next week, maybe Sunday 6/15. Will this time frame work? (6/9/2008)
Response: Just checking to see if interest remains? Thanks. (6/10/2008)
Response: Yes I am interested but I am checking to see if I can get a shipment back. Thats the only way I can beat the prices you have already turned down. Thanks. (6/10/2008)
Question: where is this truck going to? (6/9/2008)
Response: Regrets--I updated the listing earlier today and it got mussed up. The vehicle is in Shelbyville Indiana, zip 46176 at a residence for delivery to falls church 22046. (6/9/2008)
Question: Hi, Can I ask you what price range your looking for? Thanks WKendrick (6/9/2008)
Response: 425+/- (6/10/2008)
Response: Ok, I cant go that low, but I can do 565.00 including fees. Thanks WKendrick (6/10/2008)
Response: What would be the method of transport and what is your timeframe? thanks. (6/10/2008)
Response: I have an open car trailer and I an coming to your area on evening of the 15th or morning of the 16th. Thanks WKendrick (6/10/2008)
Response: That would be in Indiana, the point of origin, correct? (6/10/2008)
Response: Actually I will be at the indiana/ohio state line just above pick up location. I beleive that I am 1 hr or less to pick up location. Hope this helps, Bill (6/10/2008)
Response: Bill< I got word back from the seller tonight. He would like to be there personally for the hand-off and sunday night would work much better for him than Monday morning although either could work if necessary. All title transfer and payment has been handled already so just the truck to move. You suggested a price of $565 including fees. What does that mean exactly? I assume it is a bottom line price but not sure what fees might be referenced. Forgive my newness to uship. (6/11/2008)
Response: The 565.00 means NO other hidden fees. As far as sunday night or monday morning, I will know more about the timeframe the closer I get to indiana. Hope this helps, Bill (6/11/2008)
Response: Please tell me about any relevant licensing, certification and insurance you have that is relevant to the transport? thanks. (6/12/2008)
Response: Sorry already picked up antoher shipment, good luck. Thanks, WKendrick (6/12/2008)
Question: I can pick up Sun eve. Deliver mid week. USDOT carrier with fed MC# which is required if "hauling for hire" with haz liab so fluids do not have to be drained. Enclosed single car cargo trailer and 100% pos feedback u-ship. $700. (6/12/2008)
Response: Thank you for the follow-up. I have a potential transporter in the same timeframe but at considerablly less cost, $565. Cost is a primary consideration so must ask if the trip works for you in this range or better. Thank you. (6/12/2008)
Response: The reason I am higher I am a USDOT carrier with cargo insurance and I pay extra for haz liability so fluids don't have to be drained per DOT requirements. I also only haul one car at a time enclosed to protect from the elements. (I pick up an additional MC or other small cargo when possible.) My feedback will tell you the rest of the story. (6/12/2008)
Response: ok, sunday night pickup works good for the seller. delivery mid week or so thereafter works for me. If you submit a bid for $700 as bottom line price, I will accept it and appreciate the covered trailer and additional certs. (6/12/2008)
Response: Before I bid I must see what time I can get there Sat night. I was just informed that there will be a Father's day get together planned for Sun afternoon/eve. As soon as I can find out what time I can arrive at Shelbyville, I will bid. Thanks. (6/12/2008)
Question: I meant to say "get there Sun night" sorry. I'll get back with you. Thanks. (6/13/2008)
Response: OK, Sunday night works better for the seller than Sat anyway. what do we do now? (6/13/2008)
Response: Did the person in Shelbyville say how late I could arrive? My family will be upset if I leave them too early and I will probably need a 8:00 pm or after pick up time. Thanks. (6/13/2008)
Response: Jay, I received a reply back from the seller. He says 9 pm Sunday night would be fine. He gets up to go to work at 4 am but says 9 pm would be no problem. (6/13/2008)
Response: Sorry I did not get back sooner but our electric was out and now we are dealing with another flash flood and our basement has water. I will bid tomorrow if I can get things back in order. Thanks for understanding. Jay E. (6/13/2008)
Response: Jay, should I take it that other matters are more pressing and I should look at other shipping alternatives. I would like to tell the seller something regarding tomorrow night one way or the other. Happy Father's Day tomorrow and I hope the storms (and basement waters) subside. -- Les (6/14/2008)
Response: I'm truly sorry I am just now getting back (SUN noon) but I have been so busy that I have not been aroung the computer. I am still interested but it is obvious that I am not able to pick up Sun. I can pick up though Wed eve and deliver next week end, if that would help. I completely understand if you have to select another method of transportation for your truck. Again, accept my apologies. JE. (6/15/2008)
Response: Jay, don't have anything lined up yet. Still interested. (6/17/2008)
Response: Yes, but I have another load now. I went to place my bid and you already had accepted another, so I got another load. I can still do for $700 but I can not pick up until 6/24 and deliver 6/26 or 6/27. The weather has messed both of us up but I am now getting back to normal. Let me know. Thanks. (6/17/2008)
Response: That works. Seller says 5-9 pm for pick up works best for him. I can make delivery work on those days for sure. If you submit a bid, I will accept. (6/17/2008)
Response: I have been waiting to bid as time gets closer and I have noticed you are now willing to pay $740. Is there a reason I shouldn't bid $740 since that is what you are willing to pay others. (6/22/2008)
Response: I hadn't heard anything from you since the 17th despite a couple of messages so figured you had lost interest. There is another potential service provider named Bill but it seems he couldn't make the trip until next week which is pressing up against some deadlines. So, if you can pick it up on the 24th and deliver on the 26th or 27th as you had noted before I would certainly welcome your bid at $740. Many thanks. (6/22/2008)

Response: Thanks. What would be the timeframe for pick up and delivery? I have a potential shipper at $700 presently but agreement has been elusive. (6/16/2008)
Response: I can pu Wednesday evening and deliver Thursday. (6/16/2008)
Response: thanks. this week, delivery on thurs and friday don't work well. would delivery sat or sun or sometime next week perhaps work? If not, I might could make arrangements for someone other than me to be present at dropoff. and could you match the other shipper price of $700. (6/16/2008)
Response: Sure, next week is fine. No problem. As far as price goes I can do it for $740. If that works for you let me know and I'll place the bid. Look forward to doing business with you. Thanks Chris. (6/16/2008)
Response: I checked with the seller and based on his schedule and mine it looks like picking up in Shelbyville are generally fine weeknights between 5 and 9 pm and weekends. Delivery for me in Falls Church VA is good anytime this sat after 4 pm or sunday. weekdays of next week can be arranged. I am fine with $740 and the conditions you outlined.
