Questions for this shipment:

Question: Is your trailer road worthy all lights and brakes work, good tires with spare? When you mean load your boat does the boat run will it load from water? I can back the trailer in the water and you drive boat on trailer. Is the weight correct for this boat? Will a june 11th pick up work for you? JB Truckin (6/2/2009)
Response: My first choice is to load the boat and trailer onto a low-boy type trailer and haul both. My trailer it is currently loaded on is a good sturdy triple axle trailer however it needs re-working of bearings, brakes, lights and new tires and that is very hard to coordinate from my location. It's current location of Toledo IL. is a very small town with limited resources for such work. It can be pulled a short distance for loading purposes with the proper truck. Thank you for your reply. Gary (6/2/2009)
Response: Thanks for responding, that is some good info, I have a 1 ton dually if you get you trailer fixed I would be interested. Thanks, JB Truckin (6/2/2009)
Response: How much could you do it for if the trailer is ready? Gary (6/2/2009)
Response: $1200 cash to the truck. “NOTE: Bids must be all-inclusive, please make sure your bid is accurate.” - uShip (6/3/2009)
Question: on our trailer, $1600 and 1200 on yours (6/2/2009)
Response: Beam is 9' (6/3/2009)
Response: yes, and all bids on here are to be all inclusive as per uship rules, our bids are that way, includes any and all fees and permits not just to the truck as I saw one unclear on here. Thanks (6/3/2009)
Question: if you have everything ready by the 5th or 6th of june then i can tow it back for you to texas for $650 cash to me. best deal. chevrolet1ton2001 let me know (6/3/2009)
Response: I would like to work with you and will try to get it done, however I am worried about having it ready in time. It is hard to find people in and around Toledo as small as the city is. I will advise late today on my progress. If I am unable to meet the 6th, is there another time frame that would work for you? Thanks Gary (6/3/2009)
Question: Ok- please read our info And Feedback -- we can bid if time frame is Flexable -- late june ? if we Bid - and accepted -all i need is year of trailer /Brand / Model # / Weight Cap -/ Tire size I Can make this trailer Road Ready - i have Acess to Many Parts (we have machine shop) and will take All Parts - To properly Repair -- And Only Use a F-450 To Tow -- After reading our Info And Feedback -and Feedback storys on transports -- Let us know will Bid --Thanks (6/3/2009)
Response: I appreciate your response - I will gather all info on trailer. What I do know is that it is a 1963 Luger triple axle trailer. From what I am told it will need 6 tires, bearings repacked, brakes checked out/gone through and maybe electric brakes re-wired and lights installed and wired to trailer. I can be flexible on haul date. Can you give me a price on the haul itself to get an idea, although I am definetely interested in having you do the entire job if I can afford you. Thank you, Gary (6/3/2009)
Response: Will Bid- please accept - we can get you rolling- You need a Road Ready Trailer -- when hurricanes or storms are a threat --load And Go - Thanks (6/3/2009)
Response: It does not appear I will be able to accept your bid based on my thinking of the cost to make the trailer road worthy. My total cost of make-ready and tow needs to be held to a maximum of $ 1600.00. Please advise if you have any suggestions. Thank you, Gary (6/3/2009)
Response: Ok- At current fuel prices Dollar per mile -- want us to insure ? i have insurance -- But on Older cars - Boats -Etc - i Buy Seperate Policy -- ! (6/3/2009)
Response: This is so hard without being able to speak to you over the phone (per rules). If I understand you correctly you would load my boat with trailer sitting on it onto your trailer and complete the haul to New Braunfels, TX, all inclusive at $1.00 per loaded mile (mileage calculated on one way trip here. Am I understanding correctly? Thank you, Gary (6/3/2009)
Response: No making You trailer road ready -- Read last question - Why not Accept -bid And if not -happy cancel - we will pay your Booking Fee -! Many things way to difficult to explain -this way -Thanks (6/3/2009)
Question: What is The Beam length - need this asap - if Bid Accepted i have located a Aluminum Tri Axle Trailer Very New - (2007) but U-ship Rules - State no Contact info -unless Bid Accepted - I Live near 3 lakes - and - put the word out --and found a trailer -- We have Bid -- Thanks (6/3/2009)
Response: Do you mean you have found a trailer can can haul my trailer and boat? If so let me know your best price. I had just sent a reply to your bid prior to seeing this new message from you. Please advise, Gary (6/3/2009)
Response: Yes - But Trailer is out of your Budget -- A custom Builder in Ohio -Specializes in Chris Craft Trailers - $ 4-5 K - But Think of This -- Newer Trailer - All Runners -Rollers - Etc All New And When Another Katrina Hits -- You Will have a way To Save Your Boat -- Hook And Run - Ok- We Have Several Axle Set-ups on Luger Trailers --Luger out of Business Since 1990 -- We can Make trailer Road ready -- Could Run Around 300-- 900+ - -- We will re-bid - If You Have insurance on Boat --read previous Question --Will Wait for reply -- Before re-Bidding -- Again i am Near Dexter Axle And Skf Supply Warehouses --we can Discuss This if Accepted -Waiting Thanks (6/3/2009)
Response: Again, I could save us both alot of time if able to speak with you - I don't want to waste your time. My trailer is good just needs tires, brakes repaired and hooked up, lights and bearings repacked and should be ready to go. My maximum budget for the move and trailer work required is no more than $ 1600.00. Othwerise, I will have to figure another solution. Thank you, Gary (6/3/2009)
Response: Ok- will Take a chance -will re-bid -please accept - (6/3/2009)
Question: Gary; this is david with southern eagle transport if you would let me know what type of trailer you have I can bring the parts wiyh me and make your trailer to be able too be used I have rebuilt a lot of trailers if you can supply the tire I can fix your lights and redue all the bearing and move it for you.For $1800.00 let me know. thank you david at Southern Eagle Transport. (6/3/2009)
Response: I appreciate your response however, I do not have that much in the budget. I will either have to find someione locally to make the trailer ready where it can be hauled easily and affordably or do as you suggest with a budget of $ 1600.00 total including adequate tires. My trailer is a solid 1963 Luger triple axle trailer which I understand uses mobile home type tires. Please let me know should you have any suggestions. Thank you, Gary (6/3/2009)
Question: Ok - if Accepted will need Info on Trailer - This will require bid being accepted -- So we can freely Communicate -- Then if trailer is in good shape --i can provide The service to Make it safe -- i can Buy the Tires at Warehouse (save money ) and all items Needed - Lighting i already have Everything Needed - i keep this and Most Trailer parts in stock -- Thanks (6/3/2009)
Question: Shipper, If you're saying that this uses mobile home type tires and rims. I have them. Just need to make sure that my stuff will fit your hubs. Let me know if you find out something. Jay (7/7/2009)
Response: Yes it uses mobile home axles - tires are 14.5 X 7 - I am told brakes are hub/drum type and are on two of the three axles. Let me know other specific info you need. I am also told 4 of 6 tires are good and have 4 more rims and tires as spares - however the spare tires are weather cracked. Bearings and seals have been replaced/repaked on all wheels. Thanks! How much to haul - Can you repair or replace axles - If so how much? What is your time frame? (7/7/2009)
Response: Hello Shipper, I went out and checked the tires and rims I have and they are 7 x 14.5. These came off my mobile home when it was moved in. I have a total of 12 of them. I don't know what type of rims you have but if nothing else I can take the tires off my rims and put them on yours. If you've aready had the bearings replaced and repacked there should be no problems with the axles. If you didn't have the brake pads replaced, I can probably do this if the parts are available. If you should have additional questions, please ask. I'm also based in San Antonio and can go get this pretty soon. Thanks, Jay (7/7/2009)
Response: How much for the haul and do you have any idea on your labor cost to r&r brakes on 2 axles - or do you need brakes? thanks! (7/7/2009)
Response: Probably won't need the brakes for such a short trip. Bid would be 1775. which includes four of my tires. Jay (7/7/2009)
Response: Unfortunately significantly above my budget range - but I do appreciate your interest and time! Thank you (7/7/2009)
Response: Wish you the best of luck with your transport. Out of pocket expenses for these types of tires and tire shop fees isn't cheap. Nobody is going to be able to find these types of tires very easily. Thanks for your time. Jay (7/7/2009)
Question: i can do this for i have assets in the area when i come to pick-up i can redo the bearings tires and lights on site. my bid for the boat would be 1300.00 the repairs to the trailer would be extra i come equipt with all the tools to do just about anything i need to do to the trailer if you accept my bid i would need the tire size and make of trailer. thanks mike G&H SPECIALIZED TRUCKING INC. (7/8/2009)
Question: My e-mail won't let me respond to your question. What size tires are they? Are they something that can be replaced at a Walmart Super Center? Once i hook I could take to have some replaced.I know it is a 3 axle trailer, but weight wise only need 2 axles. Thanks (7/8/2009)
Response: There is a tire shop within 8 miles or so that can replace the tires if the trailer is brought to him - so the big question now is can your tow vehicle handle this without brakes and do you have portable lights? (7/8/2009)
Question: I have magnetic lights, I will have to extend the cord on, Is there any thing metal on back to put them on? I was raised on a farm, pulled horse trailers with 10 horses in it without brakes. Just have to go slower, and pay attention, takes a little longer to stop. (7/8/2009)
Question: $1200 I will be towing the boat. I have a transport plate. I will take to tire shop to get new tires put on [you purchase]. I have temp lights. Click on my name to review my 100% positive feedback it says it all!!! Interested? (7/23/2009)
Response: What will you be using as a tow vehicle? Can your vehicle tow this safely without trailer brakes? They are not working! What is your time frame for pickup? Can you do job for 1,100.00? Bearings on axles have just been re-worked just in need of a couple of tires - have multiple spares. Thanks (7/23/2009)
Response: I will be towing with a Ford 1 ton dually and the truck is heavy duty enough that I don't need brakes on the trailer. I can pickup the 1st week of August and deliver ASAP! What date are you wanting the boat picked up? (7/25/2009)
Response: As long as it is picked up by the 10th of August that will be fine - although the sooner the better. Can you do it for 1100 total price - including a brief stop about 8 miles from pickup location to get 2-3 new tires? If so please bid - I would like to get in touch with you by phone at your earliest convenience to answer any specific questions you may have after your bid. Thank you! (7/25/2009)
Question: hello i live here just north of houston and going to michigan to deliver a boat and can swing by and get this for you i see you had a few cancellations on this nice boat if its ready il bring her home to you by the 10th of august and will stop and get them tires at the tire store if you like il pay for them and bring you reciept and you reimburse me can get it for 1225.00 thanks il bid for you and hope i can get this to you with no cancellation. (7/29/2009)
Question: hello u wanted a bid request i cant do it for the price i previously gave u because i had lost the bid on the other shipment, but however i can bring it back to texas for $1000 cash to me. Half up front to cover gas expenses there, and the rest upon pickup. Thanks (7/29/2009)
Response: I appreciate your bid! Have you had a chance to read the question history: 1) bearings on trailer have been re-worked, 2) upon pickup it needs to be hauled to the tire store approx 8 miles away for several new tires, 3) no current tags on trailer, 4) you will need to use temp. lights for trailer, 5) is your tow vehicle capable of pulling this safely without trailer brakes? When would you be picking it up? I could pay 1/2 upon pickup and the balance upon delivery. Thank you, (7/30/2009)
Question: i talk 2 man yesterday so it its a go (7/30/2009)
Question: Are you looking for a transporter with a lot of experience? (8/1/2009)
Response: Looking for the best combination of experience, honesty, track record, dependability, price and someone who will not cancel. I am nearing a deadline to get this moved and cannot risk a cancel leaving me insufficient time to locate another hauler. Thanks again, Gary (8/1/2009)
Question: COD IS OK!!!!!!!! (8/1/2009)
Question: Its rare that I actually cancel. Normally when there are cancellations is when all the correct information is not given. Thanks (8/1/2009)
Response: Thanks - I will get with you early evening. Gary (8/1/2009)
