Question: Will you be loading and unloading with a forklift? Can this be haouled on open trailer? Thanks. Adam Offduty Transports (12/26/2007)

Response: An open trailer is fine. I'll have to check on forklift availability at loading point. Unloading if either forklift or cherry picker.
I will send loading info tomorrow. (12/26/2007)

Response: Two weeks out will be perfect since I will be in Ozark picking up a truck headed to Texas. My price will be around $500. Thanks Adam - Offduty Transports (12/27/2007)

Response: Finally have a firm load date for this Friday or next Monday at 165 Hopkins Road in Highlandville, MO.
Delivery goes to Arlington, Texas.
Let me know if you are still interested. (1/14/2008)

Response: It is a 24' gooseneck that I will be using on this trip. I will be pulling with a Ford F350 Dually. Thanks (12/29/2007)

Question: I might be able to do this next week. let me know about the loading availability (12/27/2007)

Response: Finally have a pickup date for either this Friday or on Monday at 165 Hopkins Road in Highlandville, MO just south of Springfield.
Let me know if you want to bid this load. (1/14/2008)

Response: Are the forks long enough on the fork lift to get the body out of an enclosed trailer? (1/14/2008)

Response: I will check this out in the morning and let you know. Is your trailer a normal car hauler style? (1/14/2008)

Response: It's a 24' enclosed trailer. The gate on the trailer is not strong enough to hold the forklift is why I ask. If they don't have such a thing, I will just bring my flat bed. Could this be picked up Friday? If it can, I will have it to you the same day but this is the only day I can do it. (1/14/2008)

Response: I would suggest the flat bed for ease of loading and unloading. There are some boxes of suspension parts in addition to the body and frame which can go in the bed of the truck or on the trailer. The frame is only 12 1/2 feet in length.
Loading can be early Friday and we will meet you as late as needed to unload Friday night. We will pay cash.
I am not sure that I have received a bid from you. It sounds like we may have a match, just need a bid.
Thanks (1/14/2008)

Response: I'm waiting for a response from someone else on a back haul. I should hear from them in the morning and then I'll put in my bid. Hope to be doing business with you soon. (1/14/2008)

Response: Sounds good, I need to commit in the morning if possible, other bids pending. (1/14/2008)

Response: I received a confirmation from the other gentlemen. What is your target price for this shipment. I would like to do this for you, so lets go ahead and get it worked out if we can. (1/14/2008)

Do you have insurance covering the load in transit?

Response: Yes sounds good. I will confirm pickup details tomorrow morning.
This is my first time to use UShip, do we need to go through the bid/accept process before visiting by phone about details?
(1/14/2008)

Question: We had tried to include info in the bid about this. We have both an Enclosed Trailer (for an additional $85.00, and a flatbed trailer for the bid price of $495.00) We are ussually not upset by the need for extra loading engineering, so don't be embarrassed if the loading situation isn't perfect. We are available next week if you accept this bid. Please advise us if it is the orginator (the folks in Ozark) or the destinator (the folks in Arlington) that are contracting with us....
(1/10/2008)
