Question: Hello Shipper, We can pick up and deliever next week. We will be in NC. Please tell me if you had a price range you were looking to stay in?Alyssa (4/3/2008)

Response: Alyssa:
Thank you for your response. I don't really have a price yet. We don't have much. The piano is a gift. The fellow giving it to us was originally giving it to someone else who didn't have $200 for whoever he had found to ship it. He said when he moved the piano there it cost $50.00. So I guess I am looking for somewhere in between. You are the first response I have had from UShip so I have no other criterea to go on... (4/4/2008)

Response: Hello Shipper,The best price i could do it for would be 300.00.Please let me know if you would like for us to place a bid. Alyssa (4/4/2008)

Response: Wow, thats higher than the other fellow found. However, I have had two other emails this morning and yours is about average (Low average actually) I'll stay in touch. Thanks! (4/4/2008)

Response: Hello Shipper, Thank You for getting back to us. Did you need this done right away? Alyssa (4/4/2008)

Response: No we are pretty flexible. The piano is a gift... (4/4/2008)

Response: Hello Shipper, Thank you for getting back to us. We can pick up and deliever it next week for 250.00. Thats the best best price i can give you. Alyssa (4/4/2008)

Response: Alyssa:
This sounds very fair from what I have seen today. I will get back to you.
Thank you Very Much,
Ed Hall (4/4/2008)

Response: Hello Mr. Hall, Thank you for getting back to me. Okay thats fine. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Alyssa (4/4/2008)

Response: Jasmine:
I am so sorry, I got involved in something else and dropped the ball on this one! Are you going to be in the area this week at anytime between tomorrow (Sat 8/12) and Wednesday? If so please let me know. Thanks! Ed Hall (4/11/2008)

Response: Hello Mr. Hall, Thank you for getting back to me. I am very sorry but we will not be back to NC til May. Alyssa (4/11/2008)

Question: Hello Mr. Hall. I am looking at photos of different spinet pianos. Some are upright and some are not. Which style is yours? My helper and I helped move an upright piano last week. We had 4 persons, one person on each corner for the safest move of the piece. Would u have 2 persons there to assist on the loading-unloading?
I will be in Greensboro the weekend of April 12-13. Would that time frame work for u? Please check my feedback. I have never cancelled a job, no negative feedbacks and no jobs for which I did not show up. Please compare my feedback & customer comments to others to see the level of my service. You can not accept a bid until there is a bid to accept. I'll be glad to place a formal bid if you wish. Please be reminded that Uship does not allow u or a service provider to post or share phone # or e-mail address until a bid is accepted. Once a bid is accepted then u and the provider can talk. One further question. Are you positive on the weight or is that an estimate? Thanks (4/4/2008)

Response: I used the weight of other spinets I saw as a guidline. The older ones like this I would imagine are heavier than newer ones. In my younger days I have helped move them and that is how we did it. Four guys one on each corner. It is an upright. I can provide two strong young fellows three if need be. The date is flexible. The piano is a gift for a mentally challenged child with an interest in piano. The roadblock thus far has been high moving costs!
Thanks for your interest. --Ed Hall (4/4/2008)

Response: hello again, ok being an upright I know what we have here, I've moved maybe a half dozen. Would the weekend of April 12-13 work for you? I will be west of Greensboro and that would be the date(s) where I could give you the lowest bid. If I were to make a special trip from the Charlotte area, the miles and the fuel and the travel time become more of an issue. If you are flexible about the date and time (maybe morning, maybe afternoon, maybe April 12, maybe April 13th) I can place a bid for that. I could then place a bid to do it on any other date over the next few days to a week or so, since I do not have any other work in that direction and would make a special trip from Charlotte area and bid would include the extra travel time and fuel cost. I can bid either way or both ways. Thanks. (4/4/2008)

Response: I would certainly prefer you to come when you are in the area. I own a small carpet cleaning business and can certianly value gas and time! (4/4/2008)

Response: I am waiting to hear whether I'll be west of Greensboro on Saturday April 12th or Sunday April 13th. I'll watch your listing each day and get back to you as soon as I can. I hope to know over the weekend. My bid would be lower than the 250 I see mentioned in your Q&A section. Thanks. (4/4/2008)
