Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Is 11 Ft wide correct? Most 18' boats are about 6-7 feet wide (2/5/2007)
Response:
Sorry, yes I did a typo. Thanks for pointing it out. (2/5/2007)
Question:
I have a flatbed trailer which would accomodate your if the wheels were taken off, is there any such help loading and unloading (2/5/2007)
Response:
Unfortunately not. (2/5/2007)
Question:
Is it possible o get an exact measurement of the width at the wheels, most drivers will need this, My flatbed is the widest allowed by law but I'm not sure your tariler would fit without removing the wheels (2/5/2007)
Response:
I'll see what I can get on the trailer specs. Its a Cox 1987 Single Axle. (2/5/2007)
Question:
do you still need this done i can do for 750 let me know ill be out theire in next week or so (2/6/2007)
Question:
ill be out theire on 18 can bring back for 750 let me know (2/6/2007)
Response:
Could you fill me in on what method you would use to ship? Thank You (2/7/2007)
Question:
I am heading through VA and up to Palmer, Mass. could tow behind my truck for a great price. (2/6/2007)
Response:
Let me know on price, I could have somone go and fix the tires so it is towable but the lights are not operable so you would need to put a magnetic or such tow light kit on. (2/7/2007)
Question:
Ok shipper atomic tom here. I can put this boat on top of my triaxle boat trailer i will go to some marina with it and they can set it on with a forklift or a hoist just delivered one to florida like that from toronto. Will you have a way to unload at a marina or something? And the only way i can do it is the first part of next week like tuesday wed. I can get you unloaded in East haven conn. if you want. Ok get back to me time is growing short. Thank You Tom (2/7/2007)
Response:
Hi Tom, The boat has to be shipped with the Trailer. (2/8/2007)
Question:
id pute your trailer and boat on my car trailer and bring back. (2/7/2007)
Question:
I have a car trailer with a set of bunks that would load this easily. (Made for it specially.) I could bring this for you for 640.00 to your door. I would not suggest towing it if the tires have been let go...chances are the bearings have been too. You dont want it to get stuck in MD with a wasted axle and spend 3 times the amount to get it home in the end. I am flexible on when I could leave, but could easily make your deadline. (2/7/2007)
Response:
Hello, Are you still interested in this job? Could you do a little better on price? $580 perhaps? Let me know. (2/12/2007)
Question:
Shipper Atomic Tom here. Did you see my earlier question. Whats up heading that way monday. Thank You Tom (2/8/2007)
Question:
Tom here Yes i know i will put the whole boat and trailer right on top of my triaxle bunk trailer just did one like that from toronto to florida. Get back to me. Thank You Tom (2/8/2007)
Response:
I see, I misunderstood your first message then. So what price are you offering? (2/8/2007)
Question:
Probably about 750.00 with loading and unloading. Unless you can get someone to unload you around springfield. Like i said earlier i can get you unloaded in E.Haven Then we tow the boat to springfield i can fix the lights for you. You probably need them anyway i can have the tires fixed along the way also i will take them off to put it on my trailer. Ok Tom (2/8/2007)
Question:
hello, i'll be in the Baltimore area at the beginning of next week. If I could tow this I would do it for 650 dollars plus any tolls. I will take the tires off and get new ones put on if you reimburse me also. Thank you. Please let me know. Jeffrey (2/9/2007)
Question:
is this boat on a trailer? is it road worthe? (2/11/2007)
Question:
I will be heading toward massachusetts tomorrow morning. It there is any way that you could have the tires fixed I could deliver for $450 tomorrow evening. That price includes me providing magnetic trailer lights. (2/12/2007)
Response:
Does it have to be tomorrow. I can get tires on it but I have to organize with the seller for them to get into his yard and he takes a while to get back sometimes (2/12/2007)
Question:
Answer: Hello, Are you still interested in this job? Could you do a little better on price? $580 perhaps? Let me know. (2/12/2007) No, sorry. Round trip to where the boat is, is an all day affair. Lots of ga$$$$$$oline. Also, UShip takes a bite out of my fee, which makes it impossible to reduce the cost. (2/12/2007)
Response:
Ok, thanks for the offer anyway. (2/12/2007)
Question:
Answer: Ok, thanks for the offer anyway. (2/12/2007) Just a little tidbit of info here... Your mileage is not right. It is further than listed (look at your route). Also, another hint...if you have not gotten a cellar floor bid by now, it is doubtful you will. I leave Tuesday from VA. If your boat is not behind me, you risk paying more, or using a person of shall we say..."lower grade." If your trailer was towable behind a pickup, you would be under the cost you mentioned no problem. You wont find a trailer for less. Think about it and good luck. After tonight at 7PM, I turn into a pumpkin. (2/12/2007)
Response:
Yes I did wonder about that mileage, the Uship system comes up with that via zipcodes so I am not sure what that is about. I think I will get the tires fixed. Thanks for the info, appreciate it (2/12/2007)
Question:
Sorry about the short time frame but I have to be a job in massachusetts on Wendesday. The best I could do is pick your boat up around lunch tomorrow instead of morning. I went ahead and placed a bid. Let me know if there is any further help I can be. (2/12/2007)
Question:
Hello this is Jeff with CMR trucking I am sorry that our dates were not compatiable. I am working on another trip that direction first of next week. I was wondering if I do get the trip if either a Sunday afternoon or Monday morning pickup would allow you time to get the tires for the boat. Thank You. (2/12/2007)
Response:
Yes this may work. I have decided to have tires put on the trailer anyways so it is towable. As long as the seller gets back to me this will be done on Wednesday. I will update this listing when I have this sorted. Thanks for your offer. (2/12/2007)
Question:
That is no problem. Just let me know and I can submit another formal bid. Thanks CMR Trucking. (2/12/2007)
Response:
The trailer is having new tires put on it Wednesday 14th morning. I have the new registration plate with me. Would you need this in order to complete the job? Let me know if your available. (2/13/2007)
Question:
If you could get the registration plate to the shipper it would be nice. However if you can not it will be ok due to the boat just being purchased. (2/13/2007)
