Kenneth, how will this be loaded and unloaded from my trailer? Also would this be ready to go on tomorrow or Tuesday?Report a Violation
Response: The yacht club at Inlet Watch will load it onto your trailer and the Marina in Gulfport will unload it. I will make a call tomorrow regarding a Tuesday pickup How much would you charge? Ken 3/2/2014Report a Violation
Response: I will be running this route to Kissimmee on my way back home with one of my large bunk trailers (empty). I would most likely be picking it up on Tuesday but could be as late as Wednesday, timing will depend on this crazy snowstorm that has caught and delayed my schedule some and now they are thinking it is going to be laying out 6-12" on MD tonight and tomorrow (exactly where I am headed).. But either way I have to head that way and I would be able to do this at a fair rate of $750 fully insured (you must take care of the loading/ unloading). How does this sound to you? Typically if this wasn't along my current route I would be at $1100 due to mileage and since it is not on its own trailer. I am a legal and insured DOT/ MC specialized marine transport company based in MD. We carry $1M in liability and $250K in cargo insurance to protect your investment while in transit. Please ask any questions and if you are satisfied with my offer I will place my bid. Thanks -Smitty's Haulin' LLC3/2/2014Report a Violation
Response: We live in PA so we are hoping that the snow never comes!!! We never shipped a boat before...What is a bunk trailer? I will call both facility's tomorrow morning, I am almost sure they both have the equipment to load and unload since both have dry storage that are 3 levels high. Yes we would like to use your service and I will be in touch tomorrow for sure. Just a reminder that the drop off marina will only allow drop offs that need assistance on Wed & Thurs until 5 PM. Thank You3/2/2014Report a Violation
Response: My bid will be placed below for you, feel free to accept it anytime you like, I am not paid until the job is complete and you can feel free to choose any payment option you like. A bunk trailer is a standard boat trailer (think boat trailer without the rollers, more or less a cradle). Most marinas are used to loading and unloading our trailers so we only require a forklift or a travel lift but in worse case scenarios we have the ability to self load the trailer as well from blocks or stands. We will definitely be there before Thursday 5pm no matter what (if things go as I hope, I will bet out of MD tomorrow at some point in time)otherwise I will have bigger problems since I have another vessel that is time sensitive supposed to be moving on Thursday in FL as well... On another note, I just went thru Pitts and I am in Breezewood right now and it is all clear, WI, IL, IN and OH were horrible 4 wheel drive the whole time!!! Anyway, take care and I look forward to doing business with you.3/2/2014Report a Violation
