Questions for this shipment: 

Question: Do you want this transported by a DOT compliant boat transporter with commercial liability and commercial inland marine transport insurance? If so, per Uship rules you may review my insurance and safety history and FOR-HIRE LAWS pertaining to boat transport at SAFER.FMCSA.DOT.GOV .Giving this website is allowed per Uship rules. You can also call any state DOT office for more info. IMPORTANT: uShip does not screen or qualify TSPs for compliance with federal, state or local laws and regulations. It is recommended that you confirm such compliance before services are rendered by the TSP, or call any state DOT enforcement officer for transport advice. Your insurance agent would also be able to let you know if your boat is covered when someone is hired to transport it. (3/6/2008)
Response: It really doesn't matter to me how it gets here and by who. I guess being DOT compliant is great, but as long as the boat is insured for the trip and makes it here unscathed that it my main concern. If I can save a bit of cash with another shipper I would probably lean that way. (3/6/2008)

Response: I plan to mail out a check on Monday. I don't know how long it will take to clear though. I will send it the fastest way possible. It should clear right around Friday the 14th or Monday the 17th at the latest. Worse case scenario I may be able to get a money order to speed the process along. Thanks, Joshua/Pittsburgh (3/6/2008)

Question: Do you know that if they are not compliant with dot and they are stoped for a ticket or any thing else the dot will take the boat and you will have to go through them to try and get it back. (3/7/2008)

Question: I am a dot compliant boat transporter and I am in Tx. now. I could wait for one day if you could do a wire transfer between banks I could deliver this to you next weekend.
