Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello. I am interested in your shipment. Legal and fully insured carrier. What is your timeframe for pick up or delivery? Please let me know and I can place a bid if it works with my schedulue. Thank You. Jeremiah (8/7/2007)
Response: We're flexible. The boat is in stock now, so we could take delivery anytime. If we decide to purchase the boat rfom the dealer, it would just be a matter of wiring funds. (8/7/2007)
Response: Sounds good. Also saw you mentioned a wrap. It is up to you on getting the boat shrink wrapped. This is what is typically used. The cost is between $20-25 a foot. I didn't check to see how close your location is to the place I use in Mira Loma (LA areaa). I have a friend over at Eliminator Boats that does the shrink wrap on the boats for me. Let me know you decision. (8/8/2007)
Response: Can you respond with a quote, please. thanks (8/8/2007)
Question: I am picking up a small sailboat in San Deigo next week, this will fit well behind it,have ramp set up,or better if it can be brought to me in the Shelter Isl area.Either way I can get it loaded.I'll place bid but if interested don't hesitate for there isn't much time.tduncan55(ThomasDuncanTrucking) (8/7/2007)
Response: I am checking with AIM Marine, the place we are thinking about buying from. We have never shipped a boat before, is there any type of wrap that is recommended so the boat doesn't sustain any type of damage or is it generally just okay to transport on the trailer. I'll keep you posted and give you an answer ASAP. Thanks (8/7/2007)
Response: It isn't necessary to wrap. This time of year a little road film that washes right off is the only concern.Sometimes some of the antique or museum Quality boats are wrapped.I have hauled many new boats from factory's that do not wrap.(Skeeter Boats is 9 miles from my home)It will be on the rear of the transport behind a 25' sailboat.thanks,tduncan55 (8/7/2007)
Question: What are the correct dimentions? (8/7/2007)
Response: 19' 4" on trailer in length, width is 94" and height is approx. 62" (8/8/2007)
Question: In reference to last communication,The bid is under tduncan55.If you click on tduncan55 in the bid area it will bring up a profile of my operation, complete with surfable(isd that a word?)pictures. (8/7/2007)
Response: Hi there! If we decide to purchase the boat AIM Marine said they could take it to you at Shelter Island. They are sending us a few more pictures and then we will decide. My husband and I are out of town Aug 13-19. When do you think the boat would arrive here - just want to make sure we are around as we might have to meet you somewhere to unload. We live in a small neighborhood and your truck looks pretty big. Not sure you would be able to maneauver very easily. (8/8/2007)
Response: This is Thomas Duncan's Assistant... He has stated that it will be no problem to deliver on the 19th or the 20th. He will still be in the area. He says he can pick up on the 14th and deliver the next wkend. (8/8/2007)
Question: What are the correct dimentions on this boat? Are you still in need of a shipper? Will be in area next week let me know. Thanks CandyO (8/7/2007)
Response: 19' 4" length x 94" wide and approx 65" high. (8/8/2007)
Response: Ok I have placed a bid and will be there first of next week. Let me know if you still need a shipper. Thanks CandyO (8/9/2007)
Question: hi there i am in alpine about 15 min from lakeside i can pick up any time and have there in three days.i have cargo insurance for 100k, price would be 998.93 that covers all fees and i pay insurance. thax 6493 (8/8/2007)
Question: How soon will you know?It would work out great to load it when I load the sailboat at Shelter Isl,(Monday or Tuesday)I also have the ability to move it locally with the hitch set up on My Peterbilt. My daughter is getting broke in as my assistant so bear with us for awhile, she is new to this.tduncan55 (8/8/2007)
Response: We will probably know sometime tomorrow. We are waiting for the final quote from the dealer and if everything pans out will wire them the funds. He said it would be no problem for them to bring it to Shelter Island early next week. I'll forward their contact info as well as ours once the deal gets done. We are out of town all next week and your daughter said it would not be a problem for you to drop it off on 8/20. Just want to make sure. Thanks again (8/8/2007)
Response: Yes, It will be no problem to deliver on the 20th. Please use the dealers information for pickup so that I can contact you from Shelter Island. Delivery would be no problem for I can drop my trailer close by and deliver the boat myself. When you accept the bid, we can have each other's contact information which will make it a lot easier for us to communicate... Again, I am reassuring you that it will be no problem to deliver on the 20th. Thanks, THOMAS DUNCAN (8/9/2007)
Response: It looks like everything should be a go. I'm checking with AIM Marine to see if Monday or Tuesday will be a better day for them to drop off at Shelter Bay. I will also get you a contact name and number at AIM. Once I get wire info from them and we actually wire funds I will be accepting your bid. The dealer has just been a bit slow. Thanks for your patience. I hope to have this done by days end. (8/9/2007)
Response: We look forward to working with you.. We appreciate your business! Thanks again, T duncan 55 (8/9/2007)
