I'm assuming that I'll provide you with the phone number and address, and you'll coordinate the pick-up with him. * I've requested that the wheel bearings be re-packed and the trailer have current registration - anything else needed? * I'm assuming that you'll check over the boat to ensure that everything is tied down appropriately. The seller has committed to making sure it is road ready, but wanted you to make sure before pick-up. * Would you accept all cash at time of delivery? I always inspect the trailers and tie downs prior to starting a run and making sure they are road ready. If I see anything wrong, I call to discuss with the person receiving the boat/trailer. Unfortunately things have been very slow lately and I simply don't have the extra cash laying around in order to do full payment on delivery. I will need a minimum of $700 to cover fuel and tolls for the trip from origin to destination. Deposit can be transferred as either paypal or western union.

Hi Ed... How does your insurance work? Can you give a little insight as to what is covered (i.e. damages to boat, etc.) I'm a bit nervous sending out money and never seeing you or my money again. I'm sure you can understand. Also - how does wiring the money to you via Western Union work? At this point - if we can nail down the details, we can get this going.. Mark

I use a company called P.A.F. insurance which allows me to purchase cargo insurance. Feel free to google their cargo insurance for details. If you choose to accept the bid, I will then contact you for details on the boat to set up the policy or if you prefer, I will send you the info and allow you to set up the policy yourself, whichever you prefer. You can go to any place with the western union sticker on the door (including most local Walmart stores) to put money on Western Union. There is a small form you will fill out and then they will put the info into their system so that I can then go to any other western union to pick up funds. I will have to provide you with my info, which I can do once you accept the bid. I would be more than happy to send you a copy of my driver's license if it helps. Good evening... I just purchased a sailboat down in Dallas TX and wanted it delivered to Maine. I'm doing my reading, and your referrals are outstanding. I'm getting some bids in the $1500 to $1700 range, but am impressed with your references. Is there any chance you could do the haul for this amount, and pick up the product within 5-7 days of booking? I'm working with the seller to coordinate a pick-up time - hopefully in the near future. Hi wind in hair... I did read your references. Far and away they are outstanding. The other bidders have great references as well, albeit not as good as yours. Point blank - would you be willing to do this job for $1700, and have the boat up to Maine by May 20th? If so, we can make a deal... Let me know...
