Response: The 17' weighs about 1900 pounds. It could be pulled by the trailer, there also is a small motor block to be crated and shipped with the boat. Ideally, it would be nice to be in the back of a covered truck/trailer. thanks (3/17/2008)

Response: Question please, what kind of flatbed, a semi or a trailer. How do you load a boat on a trailer? I believe the trailer wheel width is 8 ft. The original motor will be crated, all will be shrink wrapped. (3/28/2008)

Response: It looks like things are falling into place. THe broker states he should have the boat shrink wrapped, the motor crated and shrink wrapped by the end of the next week. Give me some idea of a tentative pick-up date and a tentative delivery date. If it all looks good we can process the charge card and let uship know that we have a deal. Response: Hello, thanks for the response, if the trailer is roadworthy we would trailer it behind our 2008 GMC 2500 truck and place the motor on the crate in the bed of our pickup tarpped and securely strapped down. With the price of diesel over 4.20 a gallon and your miles over 2000 we cannot compete at your target price, normally you need to figure a dollar a mile. We can give you an all inclusive price of $1370 if we can book this in the 3rd or 4th week in April. We cover all marine transport insurance up to 100k (which not everyone carries), we also have 750k in liability. Please let us know if we can be of service.
