Additional Information: Hello Roland. I need a quote to transport this 16 Boston Whaler Dauntless on trailer via flatbed trailer from Aurora, Ohio to Treasure Island, FL approx. 1100 miles I believe. You transported an identical baot and trailer in December from Largo Fl to Fort Worth Texas. Pickup and drop off are residential. Purchasing pending arranging transport. Delivery date is preferred but not required on a Friday or Saturday. Thanks

Response: Hello, I am buying site unseen so I am told the trailer bearings are good but can not verify. Prefer a flatbed trailer for that reason. What happens if the trailer fails? It has a spare wheel but not spare hubs/bearings. Michael (3/19/2008)

Question: Good morning. I am currently putting a load together for a return trip South, which I hope to have ready by mid-week. As for the trailer, not much can go wrong. Tires are easily checked and replaced if needed, bearings usually only require a healthy shot of marine bearing grease, lights...a bit of wire, some connectors and a bulb or two and those should be good to go. About the earliest I could hook up would be Monday (am in Pittsburgh right(home) now awaiting a dental appointment). While I cannot sqay with absolute certianty a specific date of delivery (since I need to have a full load before heading South), I would expect to have it to you within a week. If this would be agreeable to you, I would get this to you for 850 cash on delivery. Please let me know either way as soon as you can. Thanks, Howard. Please review my profile and feedback. Response: Wow I am impressed with your quick response, I meant inquiry not bid in my last response- sorry. The only frustration with this process is I have been contacted but when I respond sometimes I get slow or no responses.- , So you would tow it on its trailer then? So let me know a pickup date when you know your schedule as I would need to coordinate pickup with a private seller in Ohio- need to be able to accommodate his schedule as well. Response: Michael...this is my business and how I(feebily at times)try to pay my bills so I tend to stay on top of things. As for pickup date...thats your call since I'm only at most 3 1/2 hours away from pickup point. If diesel weren't so expensive, I could probably do it for less. (3/20/2008)

Response: Yes next week would be fine, would you pull on the boat trailer or would it be placed on your trailer? Overall the trailer is 20' As stated before the seller states trailer is good (and appears so in pictures) but I can not verify the bearings. What day are you arriving back in Florida- would prefer a Friday delivery if possible, but can accommodate your schedule if the price is right.Please be sure to comment on how the boat will be shipped on ITS trailer or on YOUR trailer.
