Question: is trailer road worthy, tires, tags ETC. R and R Transport (8/24/2006)
Response: not sure, looking to put it on a truck (8/24/2006)
Question: Ok, to put it on my trlr. i could do it for 1.20 a mile. if this sounds reasonable let me know and i'll put in a formal bid? triplettransport. (8/24/2006)
Response: too expensive, but thanks (8/27/2006)
Question: Do you know what total length is tongue of trailer to rear of boat to Inc motor? I'm entertaining the idea of submitting a formal bid for transport on a flatbed trailer and this info is needed. Tim (Veterans Transport) (8/24/2006)
Response: Tim, I am waiting for a call back to get exact length, but it can't be much more than 20 ft. Thanks for watching for my shipment again(I didn't get the one in Amarillo) (8/25/2006)
Question: OK. sounds good. There are 2 boats in this area needing to go to CA. I'm trying to determine if I can flatbed the 2 simutaneously. I have freight in CA waiting on me from repeat customers that needs to come back to TX. My timeframe would be near end of next week for departure from TX. I have other loads that I have to take care of 1st. Tim (Veterans Transport) (8/25/2006)
Response: Tim, the guy I bought it from won't be home until Monday night(the 28th). He will measure it then but says it can't be much more than 20 feet(22 at most, but he thinks closer to 20) Timeframe is fine. What will the cost be? Thanks, Bill (8/27/2006)
Question: Bill, Thanks for the reply. I'm on the road till late the 28th. Just dropped off a NEW 1 in Prescott, AZ. Headed back to DFW. Got a load to deliver. Got a boat to take to southern part of TX on the 1st. It's a LONG 1 day trip there & back. Just glancing at posted bids, I'm sure that I can beat them. If you haven't done so already, please be sure to read my Profile/feedback. Give me till Tues PM & I'll be able to give you some info on bid price, dates etc. Tim (Veterans Transport) (8/28/2006)
Response: Tim, have you decided not to bid? I need to make a decision pretty quick. Please let me know. Thanks, Bill (8/31/2006)
Question: ill pull it for the $50.00 your looking for is you pay my $800.00 in fuel. (8/28/2006)
Response: looking for someone to load on a flatbed, trailer very old. Not sure if you are being a wise ass on your question? (8/28/2006)
Question: more of a wise ass, anyone doing this job for less then 1500 is stupid. cost of fuel, food, truck wear and not to mention your time do drive 1400 miles... Id suggest going and pulling it your self if you want it done the cheapest way you can.. (note: bring big credit card for round trip in fuel expense) (8/28/2006)
Response: good luck with your expert customer relations. I'm sure you'll get plenty of work (8/28/2006)
Question: hah, i really do, but not from cheap customers like you.. good luck on finding a sucker. (8/28/2006)
Response: You have some real problems. First you are calling yourself stupid if you bid $850.00 then tell me anyone is stupid to do it for less than $1500. Second, why are you even wasting both of are times being a jerk. I didn't ask for it to be done for any given price, I simply requested some bids. Don't bid or ask questions if you don't want to, it is that easy. If you want, we can keep doing this back and forth, otherwise go kick your dog or beat your wife so you will feel better about yourself. (8/28/2006)
Question: [content removed] (8/28/2006)
Question: it only takes one hand, but when i grow up ill use both... today is the 28th, dont you have a boat you need to be going to get? (8/28/2006)
Question: wow what an ass (9/13/2006)
Response: nice question, what do you need (9/13/2006)
