Questions for this shipment:

Question: is the trailer road worthy ????? I.E. tires/wheel bearings etc.... ??? thanks Frank (3/12/2008)
Response: I am trying to get those answers myself, not 100%sure, hence I would rather load it on a trailer just to be safe! (3/13/2008)
Question: do you have a time frame and target price for ths delivery ???? thanks Frank (3/12/2008)
Response: no real time frame.....target price...not sure, I was hoping it would end up on the back of a flat deck, or transport trailer...rather than paying full pop to tow it up! (3/13/2008)
Question: Hi shipper, Robert here. Do you have total dimensions of trailer tongue to stern and exact width tire to tire? What is the weight on the 20'? (3/14/2008)
Response: I am trying to get dimensions on width, and length, I was hoping to get both boats on one load, I am guessing the length of the 16' is about18' and probably almost 8' wide, the 20'er is probably about 23/24' long with the width being 8' again, I can get you the accurates as soon as I can, otherwise I appreciate the offer, I am hoping to get both on one load, I will try this for a week or so, then assess situation. thanks for bidding. (3/14/2008)
Response: Thanks for the quick answer... I can put both boats on the same trailer one at a time and deliver in 48 hours? I think either way your going to be around the same cost 2 at once on big truck / trailer or 1 at a time small truck / trailer. Keep me informed... my trailer has 84" deck width and 22' length to work with. Money can be saved here if you know how to. (3/14/2008)
Question: So are you looking for a bid just for this one boat or do you want a bid for both. If you want a bid for the two can you give a target amount. (3/17/2008)
Response: Thanks for inquiring, I am updating my uship today, I have the Baja, so it is just the one 16'Donzi on a trailer, I was told the trailer tires should be changed prior to shipping.. I am working on that now, otherwise if it was on a flat bed trailer it would be fine. scott (3/18/2008)
Question: I have a 56 ft open Trailer designed to haul Cars, Trailers and golf carts. I can take both boats at one time. With the cost of fuel, tolls, DOT Cert and 1 million in insurence coverage I would have to get $1.75 a mile for both boats. That comes out to $798.00. If this works let me know thanks (3/17/2008)
Response: That would be great, except I just had the BAja shipped up yesterday, I am updating my uship right now, but I would be interested in the 16' Donzi, I hear the tires aren't that great so your set up would be perfect. and my destination would be alexandria Bay...13607. Let me know, and timeframe if it still interests you. (3/18/2008)
Question: Hi again, did you get this handled yet? (3/28/2008)
Response: NO, not yet, I was told it would need new tires to be road worthy, otherwise, if it was to be placed on a trailer it would make it alot easier!! are you interested! (3/28/2008)
Response: I would be interested but to haul it on my trailer would cost more than you appear to want to pay. What size tires are they? Won't you need tires anyway to continue towing into canada? I have a vessel going that way around 4/5 and I will also be in the area on 4/3 so if we're to get her done that would be the time frame for me cause after that I'm headed much further south!!! Warm weather! (3/28/2008)
Response: I was either going to pick it up on a car trailer and strap it down, or yes put on new tires, I don't mind dealing with it, the tires are 5.3X12 -4 bolt. I am just trying to make it convenient. I would request it be towed to Alexandria Bay. 13607 (3/28/2008)
Response: OK, Those tires are not expensive. I think I've seen those tires at wal-mart on wheels for about $40.00 each. I'll check into it and advise waht can be done. Do the dates work for you? (3/28/2008)
Response: yes, dates work, how much are we looking at... new tires, or flat bed! what is easier for you. (3/28/2008)
Response: Easier would be new tires and I tow it. If I can mesh the dates with the other load and my obligation in PA on the 3rd we can make it affordable. Let me see what the tires will cost... (3/28/2008)
Question: Heh Scott, Robert here again. Just stopped by my local wally world and new tires on wheels are $55.44 each + tax of course so 2 new ones cost you $120.00. If I can pair this with the other load I have going to MD then I can offer you $635 including the new tires. (3/28/2008)
Response: Yes, that works, I am assuming your bid is just for the transportation, and I will pay you seperate for the tires.. the guy has a fork lift if needed to pick up! and that offer is delivered to Alexandria Bay? Scott.d (3/31/2008)
