Questions for this shipment:

Question: Can you tell me approximately how many do you have to transport? Thank you (9/23/2006)
Response: We have approx. 151 total cabinets of similar size to be shipped. I figure a full truckload would be needed. Thanks, David (9/23/2006)
Question: Thank you for your reply. I have a 7x16 and a 8 foot bed will that work? Are you talking about a semi truck? Thank you for your reply. (9/23/2006)
Response: Yes, I am talking about a full 48 to 53 foot semi... Thanks, David (9/23/2006)
Question: Ok let me ask you this what if we make several trips since it is not far apart. I have made household moves like this. I would not mind that at all. If that is an option let me know. Thank you (9/23/2006)
Response: I don't mind but I have a quote with a freight company that is very reasonable. What kind of money do you have in mind to do this. Everytime I have to go to Atlanta, it costs me and an employee a days work. If you wanted to take care of picking up the items, it just might work... How do you price something like that and can you load the file cabinets? Do you have a helper?/ dolly?/ handtrucks?/ They are pretty light, so it shouldn't be a huge issue getting them loaded. It is the space and number of trips that soncerns me. What are your thoughts. I would much rather work something out with you that having to go there myself. We have two other loads in Atlanta I need to be focusing on and this would be a help if you want to give us a bid on the total job. (9/23/2006)
Question: Yes I could do the loading and unloading. I do work along but I also have dollies and floor dollies. So I could make this work for you, tell me what kind of price you are looking at. Remember I will do labor and what did freight company quote you? (9/23/2006)
Response: Thank you for your quick reply. I am glad we are both online and able to try to take care of this quickly. It is fine if you work alone and it won't be much to load anyway. But, it will save me a bunch of time in not going to take care of this myself. Give a bid if you want to bid the work. Please bid the whole shipment, no matter how many loads it takes. Since I don't know the size of your equipment, you can better estimate those details. I was figuring on laying some on their backs, on top. I just need to know your price. If I agree, I will do it. If I don't, there are others interested. Either way is fine with me but we buy a lot of stuff and will need someones services many times in the future. I want to get a good price, but not so low that you can't make a little money for your business and family. I need the bid if you are interested. Please submit it throught the proper bid method. Thanks (9/23/2006)
Question: Got one more question for you. Do you have an estimate on size by any chance. That will help me make a better judgement on price. As it will be 123 there and back so I am trying to make a good call. Thank you for working with me on this and helping with my questions. Terry (9/23/2006)
Response: I think most are approx. 48" wide and 12-18" deep. They should stand approx. 60" tall. Just another thought, If necc. I have an 18' triler that pulls great. We might could knock it out in one trip, if we met you there and loaded both of us up. I would like to see what you think it would cost for you doing it all first though. You might could even take it back for your second trip to finish the load. I am not sure what you have (truck, trailer, or what but I am flexible as long as it get done at a fair wage for both of us. Let's try the bid with you doing it all first, if you can provide that. Thanks, David (9/23/2006)
Question: Thank you David I have placed a bid for you hope this is good for you. (9/23/2006)
Response: I can get a full truck for a lot less money. I will have to plan on loading the 48-53 foot truck and it wouldn't cost even a thrid of your bid. Thanks anyway... If you had a larger vehicle we could probably have worked something out. (9/23/2006)
Question: Thank you and sorry I can't go any lower but, you will probably get a cheaper rate with the freight company. I no most on here charge 1.00 mi. Then .60 a lb and then throw labor in with it. Best of luck to you. (9/23/2006)
Response: Full trucks are calculated different than LTL. The weight or what is being hauled isn't such an issue when you get the whole truck, as long as it is within weight limits. Good luck to you also but you having to make three trips puts your price way to high for us. Thank you for all your effort. David (9/23/2006)
Question: Your welcome and best of luck to you with everything. Thanks for trying and hanging with me. (9/23/2006)
Response: take care... (9/24/2006)
Question: I have a 16ft Box Truck. Do you think these will fit in one trip? (9/24/2006)
Response: I don't think they will fit a box truck. 151 cabinets are a lot and will probably fill a big truck. Thank you (9/24/2006)
Question: Hello stjulientrans can do your move for you.I can provide loading and unloading, door to door for $500.00. Can do ASAP (9/24/2006)
Response: Someone has already given a $500 bid. What is the least you can do it for... Thanks, David (9/24/2006)
Question: Thanks for reply.I have a 2006 Ford F-350 with a 8.5x24 foot enclosed trailer.I could do it asap.The best I can do is $475.00 (stjulientrans) (9/24/2006)
Response: I am not sure if you can get them all in one trip. Are you quoting moving them all for $475? Payment when complete? (9/24/2006)
Question: Yes quote is for hauling all file cabinets full payment upon finishing job.One are two trips (9/25/2006)
Response: If you will submit a bid of $450 I will accept, as long as you are quoting all cabinets to be brought and delivered to our warehouse, including labor on both ends, door to door. Thanks, David (9/25/2006)
Question: Can you do $475.00 (stjulientrans) (9/25/2006)
Response: I already have a bid of $466. I was going to go with you if you can do for $450. Thanks, David (9/25/2006)
